[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this freezer to replace 25+ year freezer that died. I've only had it for 2 weeks, so can't speak to it's longevity. So far very happy with it. Pros: It's very quiet when running Has plenty of space for freezer that is not full-size Door is reversable, you can change which way it opens to best fit your space Cons: It sticks out from wall farther than I expected based on the published measurements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only have 1 regret I bought the stand up cause this is what I had once before. But this one is much smaller. Wish it had pull out basket at the bottom my other freeze did. This one looked like it did but it’s just a piece of plastic across the bottom. Had to get freezer quick other one went out after 4 years (Maytag). Not built to last anymore. ☹️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Didn’t have the freezer for a full two weeks and the compressor has gone out on it. Had to call Whirlpool and schedule an appointment to come out and fix it. There’s been no compensation for the food loss from the freezer thawing out. Size is good but can’t believe a Whirlpool failed brand new within two weeks of plugging it in!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with my purchase. The price was right and it’s so easy to be able to open the freezer door and see everything that’s in it. In my previous freezer I would have frozen food hidden at the bottom for so long I would have to throw the food away. I think I might have made an excellent choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the freezer about a month and it works great. I like the light and frost free feature. Two things that could be improved on is the temp adjustment is cold colder and coldest and unable to set temps between the three settings. I looked everywhere and at other brands trying to find bins that would fit the bottom. The construction looks as if it had a place for bins to slide in. The bottom space has a lot of wasted space as they could have made a bin to fit and accommodate the slope on the back wall. As it is you can maybe put a couple turkeys on the bottom but can’t really stack any thing there. We bought bins for the rest of the freezer for the shelves. It helps in stacking and also sorting.

We needed 2x the capacity of our 25 year old Kenmore. Size and price fit the bill. Maintains -5° temp. Our 3rd Whirlpool appliance in recent years.

Kind of wish there were stainless steel options (the darker more luxurious stainless color as given on the high end models) for the price I paid for this. Also would have like to have seen a temp indicator.... But that's just me wanting more bang for the buck... Lol. I buy a lot of fresh veggies from the farmers markets and cook off big batches and then freeze them. Space is perfect and the shelves are pretty decent with a decent cutting on them for added durability... As I despise straight metal racks/shelves because they rust to easily. All in all... I'm very pleased with this model, especially the deep freeze option.
