[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buyers beware! I bought an “EXCELLENT condition” Open Box return that says YOU inspected and guaranteed the items inside. It is a Yamaha - 5.1-Ch. 4K Ultra HD A/V Home Theater Receiver Model: RX-V385BL for only $50 off the Brand New price. Excellent and inspected sounds worth the small discount so I trusted you and figured I’d take it off your hands so it’s not sitting there. I should NOT have trusted you! You’re scamming customers because everything is missing, only the receiver is in the box. The previous owner wrote allover the crunchy manual plus it looks like he sat on it for two weeks. But the worst part is all items are missing!! Inspected and excellent does not mean no AM or FM antenna, Yamaha Remote w2 batteries, or YPAO microphone. How can you sell this product as Complete and Excellent when I have to now buy a $50 remote and the other three items… so my cost is now more than buying it new. I am so disappointed and won’t be trusting Best Buy again. Buyers beware!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This receiver is fabulous! I originally purchased a Yamaha which I was not satisfied with at all. The Denon works flawlessly with my Sony Bravia tv and Klipsch speakers. I use the HEOS app on my phone which is quite convenient! It also has AirPlay which probably one of my favorite features it has. The sound quality this unit produces is wonderful and and pretty easy to set up! I’ve had it for a couple months now and have had zero issues with it. It’s plenty powerful ans will most certainly blow the windows out lol. I expect many years of enjoyment out of the unit!! I am by no means an audiophile but I am 100% satisfied with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sound..... the clarity of this unit is amazing especially when used with yamaha speakers.. only reason i bought it was to replace the same unit that i had bought several years ago with the whole speaker system when the receiver " accidentally " got sprayed with water while hosing off the porch.. the unit was fine before than . This system has alot more refinement in the high frequency range as opposed to other surround sound systems that are more aimed to midrange and bass.. i have been pleased with it and it is why i purchased another receiver to replace the water soaked damaged one i had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a 5.1 channel surround sound receiver which means it is for a max of five speakers and a subwoofer. I use it for my bedroom/studio apartment and it's more than enough. Yamaha is a trusted brand for sound and all my speakers are Bose so it's good combo. If you want to power a full home theater center in your home I recommend going for the 7.1 channel. Everything on the receiver is labeled very clearly so you don't have to be too knowledgeable about cables to be able to connect your speakers. The interface is simple enough as well. The best part is how simple it is to switch between inputs. The switch buttons are just as big as the volume control on the remote. I am happy with my purchase.

I have it connected to some B&W 600 series and I’m surprised that this receiver is pushing those speakers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Yamaha 5.1 channel receiver is terrific. It is used in the den for music listening and movies. The Klipsch front speakers and Polk center, subwoofer and satellite speakers blow sound bars away. The hdmi inputs make tv and Firestick connections easy. What started as a reasonably priced receiver has turned into a fun listening area. The YPAO microphone helps tune speaker placement for the best sound for yourseating area. The Bluetooth receiver works great for listening from your devices. The usb port in the front is great for a flash drive full of your favorite music. This product has exceeded my expectations for home hi fidelity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I held off giving it 5 stars because we have had this for just a bit over a month and are still learning how to use it properly. The physical setup is pretty straightforward and it appears to be working properly, but there are so many nuances to all of the possible settings that it takes time to understand and try out all of the possible settings to get the best sound. On a related note, my only complaint is that the user guide that comes with it is all but useless. You have to download a 100+ page owners manual in order to figure out the entire setup. It seems like a product like this should really have a complete printed manual in the box.
