The TLC5940 is a 16-channel PWM control chip, featuring 12-bit duty cycle regulation accuracy (0-4095), 6-bit current limit control function (0-63), and supporting Daisy chain serial communication interface. This development board can fully leverage all the functional advantages of the chip - all 16 PWM channels are led out through standard 0.1-inch pitch pin headers and arranged along the voltage/ground rail. As the TLc5940 supports Daisy chain connection, this development board has specially designed corresponding interfaces: all serial input signals are led out on the left side, and output interfaces are arranged on the right side accordingly. The application scenarios include single-colour/multi-colour/full-colour LED displays, LED billboards, display backlight systems, servo motor control, and other projects that require a large number of PWM drive channels. Although each 3-pin PWM interface adopts a 0.1-inch pitch, to meet the connection requirements of servo motors, The interface pitch is slightly larger than the standard value. All output terminals are integrated with 2.2k pull-up resistors to be compatible with the 2.2k resistor of the servo control lref pin.
