The working principle of Heil's pneumatic tweeter involves repeatedly folding an ultra-thin aluminum diaphragm to create an accordion-like concave-convex shape. When electricity is applied, a magnetic field is generated within the grooves. Each adjacent surface of the folded diaphragm moves relative to the other within this magnetic field, squeezing or drawing in air through the folds and radiating sound waves in a jet-like manner, thus producing sound. The sturdy alloy construction ensures long-lasting performance.
