The 14500 format is approximately the same physical size as a standard AA battery, but its 3.2-volt output and LiFePO4 chemistry are significantly different from conventional 1.2V NiMH or 1.5V alkaline AA batteries. LiFePO4 chemistry is known for excellent cycle life, thermal stability, and a stable discharge voltage. For safe and reliable operation, this battery should only be used in equipment designed for 3.2V LiFePO4 cells and should be charged with a compatible LiFePO4 battery charger.
