I replaced an older APC UPS that I have had for many years, as I have installed a cloud based RAID and purchased a new computer. Western Digital suggested that I purchase a smart UPS, and even provided a list of recommendations. This thing, however has greatly exceeded my expectations. My previous model worked well for many year, and I had replaced the batteries in it once. This one is SO feature laden compared to the previous one. I love having so much information about my current at my fingertips, and even getting alerts when there is any issue. This is one amazing product.

I like this product and use it for various applications that involve motors which have no "spin down capacity. Foe example,just installed 20 at a fitness center where the treadmills simply stop when there is an interruption of AC, due to their poor design. With the Smart-UPS C, there is more than enough power to not only protect the treadmill electronic components but also prevent them from a sudden and dangerous stop. It can also do Network Management which in this application was not needed. Well done!

Bought this UPS several weeks ago to replace a unit that was several years old due to the battery failing to charge. The unit purchased is the current model of the one it replaced but with a few more features. Fortunately the new unit arrived and was operating a couple of days before our most recent power failure and the devices attached continued to function with out hiccup until the power was restored.

The battery needed replacing. I found a trade option where I got an updated UPS with a new battery at a great price. I have used the old APC UPS for over 10 years and it has worked flawlessly. The new UPS installed easily and was up and running the same day as I received it. Great peace of mind. When the electricity fails, any computer not on the UPS gets hammered. Great purchase.

I have 3 of these units in my remote observatory and being able to view information on them remotely is extremely important. I wish it were possible to access them directly via the Ethernet port. They are too far away from my equipment for a USB connection, and one unit only has networking gear on it.

These little 1500VA Tower UPS Units are a very common site at SMB companies for a reason. They are solid and reliable and seem to last forever. Can't go wrong with these especially the newer models with SmartConnect remote monitor software. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can never access my 3 APC SmartUPS on my network... it seems to theirs always an issue. Why can't APC make software that doesn't need so much maintenance to work.? And my Nickname is too short... You people just love torturing your customers.

This is a solid product with the dozen or so that our company has deployed in the field. My only suggestion is a complete revamp of the management software which is dated.

Great protection for small office or home environment. this is a staple product for the SMB customer. Super price point and reliable solution.
