Love my stapler!
- June 3, 2016So, I've had my t59 since the late '90s. Purchased it through Milestek. I don't do a lot of cabling jobs, so mine has lasted for years. I've read the reviews on the newer version, and I wouldn't trade mine in for anything. That said, I find I have to order the insulated staples from online stores, cause no one carries them locally. For wiring and cabling jobs, there's no better tool, especially when combined with the insulated staple. For non-cabling jobs, where I am asked to attach a panel of some sort to a wall, is there a non-insulated staple I could use? Like the standard t50 staples? It would NOT ever be used for any sort of wiring.

The legend of the T50 lives on with data cables
- September 6, 2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you like the T50 for general tacking, you'll like the T59 for tacking coax and UTP cable. Just get the right staples for the type of data cables you're tacking down. Just like the T50, the spring in this tacker is stiff. That's good for driving the staples but it sometimes makes for a two-handed push on the lever and that's not a good "ease of use" factor if you're trying to hold a cable in place with one hand while squeezing the handle with the other hand. If Arrow would come out with a Li-ion rechargeable battery-based tacker that would take both T59 and T50-series staples and keep their quality level high, they'd really have a killer product!

Was excited until the ~20th staple. Now useless.
- October 19, 2017I don't get it with these things. Solid metal and fits nicely in the hands, hence the 5 star reviews about "design" and "quality". While "ease of use" was at 5 starts hands down, initially -- after about the 20th staple it immediately went to zero stars, as the thing became useless. There is nothing to adjust on the stapler, so it's not like I have a wrong setting or anything. It.... just stopped working and there's nothing to even do about it. There are no noticeable bends, cracks, dings, nothing. It actually looks brand new. Now, I have to hold the staples and hammer them in with a hammer! Reminds me to just stick with the basics in the future, with regards to all "inventions".

A super-handy stapler for neat wiring
- March 14, 2018I guess only unhappy people normally bother to review, so I figured I would balance out the complaints. I bought one and have driven about 400 staples so far. Never a misfire or jam, never a problem sinking up to the insulation into SPF studs. Very powerful, easy, and a joy to use. My only minor complaint is that occasionally when running along the length of the cable (to keep stapling) the cable will slip in and get caught in the track toward the back of the gun. Some little plastic piece that is part of the locking latch to keep cable out of the staple track would make the design 5 stars.

Very Easy to use. I highly recommend this product.
- December 6, 2024I used it to hang Christmas lights at the ceiling of my home. It worked wonderfully. It was much easier to use than the traditional style.

Easily fasten low-volt cables while on ladders or on the ground
- October 18, 2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Arrow T59 stapler to install low-voltage cabling in my home. Ceiling line is vaulted & 24' at its higher lines. Using the T59 stapler to fasten neatly low volt cables on open joists is easy. I use a carabiner in order to attach the T59 to the hammer loop on my carpenter's apron. This way I have two hands to arrange the low-volt cable for fastening. I have been using Arrow T-series staplers for 30+ years. I am receiving a plastic storage caddy as an incentive to write this review. Any bias is negligible in my opinion.

Only works in drywall
- November 28, 2016This thing is terrible. It won't drive a staple into anything but drywall. I just tried it on plaster, molding, and plywood, and the staples bend and deform rather than sinking in even partially. My thinking is that maybe the hammer isn't centered behind the shafts of the staple so the force isn't distributed correctly. Maybe the staples themselves aren't up to the task, but I'm using genuine Arrow 5911 insulated staples, and the other reviews here seem to imply the gun is at fault. Going to be asking for a refund.

Great product
- June 15, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is about the only tool on the market with properly insulated staples. So many others are just lacquered metal which will fail within a few months. Incredibly versatile, producing a neat finish which is passable with most decors. The staples are curved, so don't compress the outer braid, which can interfere with signal transmission on aerial leads. The only niggle I have is that there simply aren't enough different sizes of staples for this wonderful gun. Some smaller ones would be really nice.

Good staplier for the application.
- July 17, 2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been self employed for over 40 years and have always used T-18 & T-25 Arrow Staplers. They just have good quality long lasting products. I have had a similar " red plastic" stapler that I bought at a big box store to secure some Cat5e data cables and they just didn't last. They jammed all the time. This new T-59 is so much better. I just wish they made a powered stapler as I don't have the squeezing ability I used to. A few staples no problem but doing several hours I get hand fatigue.

Wow! So much better than your normal stapler!
- February 13, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work for a telephone company and we are constantly having to run CAT-5E cable. A stapler is a must for us and we can't chance the staple getting into the wire. When we started using this T59, we immediately saw a difference. The insulator gives an accurate look at where the staple is going so there is no confusion. The staple wraps tightly around the wire without worry of puncturing it. I highly recommend this stapler to anyone who is in the phone/dsl/electronic industry.
