What customers are saying

These headphones offer good sound quality, with a clear, detailed, and well-balanced audio profile suitable for music production and recording tasks. They are described as comfortable, with a secure fit, though some users found them uncomfortable after extended use. The long, non-removable cord was also mentioned as a potential inconvenience. Overall, these appear to be high-quality, affordable studio-style headphones that perform well for their intended purpose.

    Uncomfortable after long use

    Reviewed by - May 25, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the headphones are built well, portable/foldable, and come with nice accessories (bag, adapter), I found them to be very uncomfortable by the 1 hour mark. Perhaps that's because I wear glasses, so you might want to look elsewhere if that's your case as well. But regardless, I didn't find the sound to be great. Songs that I am familiar with lack the bass and often times, these were no better sounding than the $20 MDR-ZX110 headphones from Sony. I will admit that the headphones are durable and will last much longer than those Sony headphones. The cord length is also incredibly long, which is annoying when you're already near your computer/phone.

    Perfect for My DAW

    Reviewed by Nostredummass - May 1, 2022

I've been recording my own songs for decades. I've had innumerable headphones, some good, some not so much. I can honestly say these are the best headphones I've had. The flat sound is perfect for recording, and they pair well with my AT4033 microphone. Unfortunately, I stepped on them a while back. They still work, but one side is taped together. So I'm about to order a new pair. I just bought a used IPhone5, and they sound excellent plugged into the headphone jack. Not sure I'm going biking with them on, especially with the loooong cord. But I've used them gardening and such, and music has never sounded better.

Good Sound, Comfortable, No Loud or Heavy Bass

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - June 27, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am mainly using this headphone with electric guitar amp, and sometimes plug in to my YAMAHA TSR-7850 receiver watching movies or music videos. For the price, it has good sound quality and no annoying loud sound or buzzing bass. On the other hand, it is not too heavy and sits good on head, you can even do headbanging with it!! I can play hours electric guitar with this headphone plugged in and my ears are not gonna be tired. Even when I am listening music via iPhone,it is OK (not as good as BOSE headphones with noise cancellation). Bottom line, this headphone is robust for loud music and bass (if you are looking for high dynamic bass, don't go with this headphone). I am happy with my purchase.

    Great for the price

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - January 17, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reviewing headphones is such a challenging thing to do because headphones are such a personal purchase. It's hard for me to recommend monitors in general because depending on what you're using these for, they may be perfect, or you might want something else. I use these for audio monitoring in video production, and they're great for that. They have a broad spectrum sound that allows me to pick out small details or unwanted noise. Are these the best for music? Probably not since they have a bit of a generic sound profile to my ears, but they still fantastic for the price.

    Great Headphones!

Reviewed by Brayden MacKay - January 13, 2016

Great headphones for the price! Awesome sound quality, especially on the low end (lots of bass). One thing to keep in mind is the length of the cord. 3.5m is VERY long and (in my opinion) gets annoying while trying to manage all the extra cable. Also this cable IS NOT removable so what you see is what you get. I would also recommend taking a look at the M40x headphones, not only for their slightly increased performance, but for the included 1.5m coiled cable.

    Fantastic Sound

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - February 24, 2017

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you hate headphones that just sound like thumping muddled bass, or headphones that sound like you're listening through a tin can, studio headphones are for you. These sound amazing. Tuned "flat" so that the entire range of sound is basically equal. I LOVE these. But headphones are personal, so I'd suggest trying to listen to them before buying. I took a chance, and luckily I didn't regret it. One weird feature: the cord isn't removable, and is LONG. Like, 10 feet long. It's no joke. So be warned.

    Great budget buy!

I'm really enjoying these headphones! They're my first pair of monitor headphones ever and I do notice the difference between these and my wireless headphones, so it's making a positive difference when editing music. If someone is more professional/has more experience with audio engineering they will no doubt need something more high end, but for my needs, these are great. I'm using them with a laptop that doesn't have an audioport, so bought a 3.5 mm to USB-c adapter, and it's working out great.

Absolutely astonishing value for the price!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - June 15, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned a pr. of $100 Koss Pro, JVC and the 4 speaker V-MODA lp2's. The M-Series ATH-M30 Professional Monitor Headphones 40mm tuned for low frequency 15Hz-20kHz These definitely are as advertised - for mixing, recording or to just sit and relax and really appreciate the incredible sound! To my surprise these are circumaural meaning that they do not rest ON the ear, but rather contour AROUND the ear in an narrow width, high slotted opening that isolates excellently!
