Capable of classic 8 or 16-bit resolution wavetable synthesis plus up to 8 configurable voices, the sound of WAVE is synonymous with the sound of the 80s as artists like David Bowie, Jean Michel Jarre and Tangerine Dream, to name a few, used the original to create hits that still resonate today!
WAVE is amazing for creating lush pads, bass and even some bell- or chime-like sounds and that's all thanks to its 8 highly configurable voices and its classic wavetables with 64 waves each, complemented by and additional 64 fixed sub-oscillator waveforms for added depth. Want to change the characteristics of a wavetable? The 2 ADSR envelopes allow you to sculpt your wavetable just the way you want it. There's also a dedicated sub-oscillator position control for some extra nuance. And if you wanted to get even more sounds out of WAVE, additional user wavetables and transients can be easily imported via the SynthTribe app, available on both macOS and Windows.
