Beirut - NO NO NO - [CD]

Zach Condon and his band Beirut will release their fourth studio album No No No on 11th September 2015, their first world wide release for 4AD. Coming four years after The Rip Tide, and recorded over a two week period during one of the coldest New York winters - with blizzard after blizzard raging outside - No No No is Condon’s most vibrant and spirited record to date. The official video for title track 'No No No' has premiered. Directed by Brother Willis, it finds the 6-piece band performing on an American Bandstand type set with unexpected twists playing on the song’s title.“(No No No is) a jaunty, syncopated, playful tune with a simple yet anthemic melody. The horn arrangements bring depth to the song's spirited repetition. It's undeniably Beirut — and a joyfully welcome return.” – NPR“Zach Condon’s thoughtful, warm voice is still the driving force on this song, accompanied by brass flourishes and skittering percussion.” – Stereogum”Exquisitely orchestrated masterpiece.” - Village Voice Artist & Album Information: Beirut main man Zach Condon recorded his debut album, Gulag Orkestar, when aged 18, after dropping out of college in Santa Fé, New Mexico and running away to live in Paris, France.
