[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a godsend ever since cellular phones have standardized USB-C adapters. The Belkin USB-C to Micro USB adapter allows me to both use my older cables for data transfer from phone to PC as well as charging AND it allows me to plug in my Micro USB memory sticks to my current phone. I have seen no performance decreases in either usage scenario, note that it will not transfer data at the full USB-C speed but rather at the standard USB speed of the older devices. Awesome product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Belkin USB-C to Micro-USB Adapter is a less expensive and awesome alternative to buying new charging cables for my new phone and other devices. My old one used micro USB connectors. It allows me to interchange a lot of cords for different uses, and I love being able to use fewer cables so I have less waste and less confusion for each device that I try to use and/or combine for different uses. This small, portable adapter converts my Micro-USB cables to USB-C. It charges up to 12W and is capable of data transfers up to USB 2.0, which makes it perfect for all my syncing and charging needs. This tiny adapter (as long as I can keep track of it, as it is extremely small) is like having a backup cable for charging anywhere I want, such as my car, work, on the go, at a friend’s house, etc. I love how this adapter has helped me reduce the panic that comes along with running out of charge since I know that I can easily recharge in so many more settings with the use of it. The only thing I find that is stupid about this product is that only Australians are eligible for the warranty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still have a few new micro cables around and now that my phone uses type c cables I thought this converter would enable me to still use them without them going to waste. The piece itself looks like the end of a charging cable. It just goes over the end of the tip of the cable you want to convert. It goes on easy enough but doesn't fit snug up against the the micro tip , no matter how hard you push, leaving some space in between . I inserted it into my phone. I pushed it all the way in and you could feel like it clicked into it. However if you move the phone or tried using it while it was charging it falls out very easily. Another problem was that i got a notice on my phone to check the charger and it was going to be extremely slow charging. Even after letting it sit overnight it still didn't fully charge. I have tried generic adapters like this in the past with the same results. I was hoping that using a brand like Belkin , I would have better results. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a new phone that uses type c.I live in a small town with few shopping options. I had to go further out to get my phone. When I got my phone home, I realized it didn't come with a charger! Phones always came with chargers! I was not driving all the way back to get a charger. I'm thankful for this adapter for allowing me to use my new phone that night and saving me money on new cords. There was nothing wrong with my old cords except the size. I love being able to extend their lives and reuse them. (This is very small therefore I am storing it in a tiny zip lock in my phone case!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are making the move to a newer Samsung phone from an older Android phone that used a Mirco-USB power port, this is a very good adapter to use on your existing Micro-USB cords (wall chargers, car chargers, etc.) to the newer USB Type-C connections on the newer Samsung models. This helps so that you don't have to go buy all new cords. Works well with fast charging also. Deducted a star only because the adapter's fit on some Micro-USB connectors is hit or miss...either fits really well, or is a little loose. Please note this may not entirely be the fault of the adapter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I have trusted Belkin products, and have purchased several adaptors, cables, charges, etc and always performed like a charm. I still have products I purchase to use with my iPod Classic 14 years ago, and still work. I have to admit, I take care of my devices and peripherals (yes, my iPod Classic is still working). So far the Belkin USB-C to micro USB adapter is doing its job great, and it is substantially cheaper than the one Samsung sells for the Galaxy Note 8. I don't give it 5 stars because I am very picky: when you connect the adaptor to the micro USB tip, it is not totally flush with it (as the Samsung adapter does). Other than that, which is a minute detail, I don't see any difference on functionality to justify me expending the additional dollars in the Samsung one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good - I haven't had this adapter long so I can't speak on how long it will last, but so far it has been great! I carry two phones and one happens to be USB-C and I found myself without a charger one day - I have tons of micro usb cables everywhere - work, car, home, co-workers - only makes sense to get this adapter! I do wish it had a tiny lanyard or something on it so you could maybe attach it to a key-chain - by itself it's pretty tiny so I can a possibility for it getting misplaced!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great USB cell phone cord adapter. It will transform USB phone cable when on a trip and you forgot to bring your USB cable . You can purchase the USB cable at a convenient store and attach the adapter to fit your cell phone phone. We now have 3 adapters so if we lose one, we will have an extra one. Very reasonable price. Easy storage. Very wise purchase for us. Love it. Recommend that you get one for yourself. You will be happy that you did. Thank you Belkin accessories. Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a note 8 and it had the new port that of course required an new charger cable. It's a micro C so I bought a cable that I hoped would be long enough for whatever I needed. It was. At 10 feet, It would work in my new motor home to charge my cell phone, or let me relax on the couch after stopping for lunch or a driving break. It was just long enough to reach around the bird cage to the mini blind next to the door. Perfect.
