Awesome printer for the price
- January 17, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Researched this purchase first and I am not disappointed this printer is fast and easy to set up and wifi works flawlessly print is well defined and this printer is easy on the ink I have had HP LEXMARK AND DELL none work as well as this one scanner is awesome I use it a lot. My wife and I are music ministers at are church and she is the church secretary so this printer gets put through its paces. We love it. Just hope it holds up a long time. But for now it gets 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brother XL keeps you printing longer
- December 19, 2025[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brother ink is high quality compared to non-brother ink. The XL lasts a long time compared to standard quantity ink in the same size cartridge.

Don't Buy a Brother Printer.
- December 26, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will never buy another Brother Printer. The ink doesn't last very long. When they do a firmware update, the ink cartridge's were drained of ink and I still had half the ink in each cartridge, forcing me to buy more ink. The cleaning of the heads also drains the ink. The menus for the controls are not automatically or even suggested to be put on the desk top. I had to search for them and place them on my desktop. Their customers service for this printer is substandard. The reminder for buying more ink is annoying and way to early to be reminded. The software menus are confusing and not clear. Options for scanning and where to put the scan and the options of program to open the scan are limited and cannot be added.

I'm really happy with my Brother printer
- December 22, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Brother printer because my old HP 8450 gave out and started leaking. I looked at everything on display and I liked that this unit stated the cartridges were long lasting and....well cheap. I've had it long enough that the printer still works with Windows 10, but was made for 7 and 8. The ink lasts like the box promised and for inkjet printing, page count is as important as print quality. Unless something drastic happens, my next daily printer will be another Brother unless Epson comes out with a low priced ink. I love Epson for photo printing.

Defective cartridges
- May 16, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LC203BK cartridge after the purchase of LC201BK ink cartridge. The LC201BK was bought along with the LC201Y, LC201B, and LC201M . I purchased them together. I wrote about the colors in last review. This is a second review about LC201BK . All four cartridges were worthless after just 12 to 14 copies. This purchase was a waste of my time and money. The cartridges that I got to replace the four I reviewed are doing fine. This was a bad experience all around with the defective ink cartrdd

Serendipitous Ink Jet cartridge purchase
- May 21, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Brother OEM replacement cartridge for a Brother MFC that I recently purchased for my daughter. The cartridge is an extra capacity replacement cartridge, i.e., 550 pages vs 250 pages, and represented a better value. Little did I know that in addition to my $5 discount reward certificate, there was an addition 15% discount for this item! Cool! A $24.95 regular price cartridge netted out at only $16 + change. This item is a FFF replacement, i.e.l Form, Fit and Function replacement for the starter cartridge that came with the MFC, so a big increase in capacity and no drop off in print quality. My daughter has been very pleased with the MFC, stating that the colors render true and the blacks render BLACK! All in all, very pleased with the purchase and will purchase it again when the time comes.

Horrible frustrating and beyond disappointing!!!
- March 5, 2021If you can manage to get past the faulty cartridge errors and paper jams, you will get a blurry printout with missing or incorrect colors. I am an Engineer and can get anything computer or mechanical related to work. This is literally designed not to work. After buying brand new cartridges I get a few very disappointing pages before it reports empty cartridges. I give up. Having my printing done at department stores or pharmacies from now on. KMA brother.
