I just got this shipped, despite being informed it would be delayed, it arrived on time. I've had it working for the past few days, and it's doing a great job keeping my basement room nice a cozy. It does a good job heating the room without ANY noise, so I can sleep comfortably at night, and the air is not dry, nor do I have to worry about dust in fan blades, nor that burnt smell you get when you turn on a standard fan based electric heater. I was impressed with the features and their benefits, and so far I am very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended.

It's unbelievable that we write reviews for something that works as it should work, we are conditioned to expect poor to mediocre products. This heater is a very good solid performer with simple intuitive controls though I wish there was more complex programming available - but for me this is a minor complaint. Bought one a couple of years ago for a downstairs bedroom that is only needed to be heated 4 to 5 hours every night, and this one is for an upstairs daytime room. There's no need to heat the entire house when the rooms I mostly use are small.

Useless timer. My last one had the ability to be set to turn on and off. Assumed with the 24hr timer could do the same with this model.

There seems to be some pretty bad QC issue with the heater. The first one came assembled incorrectly (tabs bent outwards instead of inside which scratched the surface and the replacement unit was dented in on one of the sides. Before you say its from shipping damage, the boxes were fine and the first replacement unit was done at the store and wasn't shipped to our home. finally the third is acceptable but there are still minor quality imperfections (tabs not clipped in between radiator fins on the inside but i've given up and am going to keep it). The recommendation is to thoroughly inspect it when you first open up the box. In terms of performance, it seems fine, wish it comes with a remote though or an automatic timer where you set which hour of the day it automatically starts and stops (eg 10PM start and 6 AM stop everyday). Currently there's only a count down timer which allows you to tell it in how many hour to turn off or on the unit.

I needed a space heater for my garage. So I asked chat-gpt as to the best oil filled radiant. It said the Delonghi Dragon, and what do you know, it was on sale. Sold. Plugged it in and set it for 18. Came back the next morning and garage is 18. Great. Set it to low. Next morn, garage still 18 C. Tried to ECO switch. Next day ... garage is 18 C. There is no lower setting. Gotta like that. Has a three year warranty. I am totally happy. Oh, and it is pretty much silent.

This is my 2nd DeLonghi radiator. Out of the box it was in perfect, pristine condition, no scratches, dents or marks. I gave it a good 2-hour burn on high for a couple of hours. No sound, crackling, nothing. This machine is solid, made with more steel than plastic, which is why DeLonghi radiators are heavier. You get the materials and workmanship you pay for, as well as a solid and reliable thermostat. My DeLonghi Rapido from 2004 still delivers solid radiant heat, and my new Dragon 4 has already lived up to its reputation. An investment, money well spent.

I bought this item about 1 week ago. I have been using it every night when the temperature is 12 or below 12 and it is wonderful. It is quite and efficient.

I can't believe that nobody has commented on the noise this thing makes when it's on. It is exceptionally earitating! I have own 5 oil filled heaters over the course of my life and none of them have ever made a sound. This unit is going right back to the store and I will never by a DēLonghi again thank you very much!

Love it! Bought one two years ago … Love it. So bought a second one now. Reliable even heat … solid construction … easy controls for temperature adjustments, etc. … soundless … feels much safer around children than electric heaters that are not oil filled … wheels allow it to be moved around easily. Highly recommend.

When I first got this, the only time I would hear anything would be the very rare crack sound when it first starts giving heat. After about a month, the cracking is happening way more now, like it will do it 10 times in a row, and way more often. Taking it back to store now...
