What's included:

  • Smart Sensor x 2
  • Includes two SmartSensors, two detachable stands, two adhesive wall-mounting brackets, batteries, and an installation guide
  • SmartSensor detects room occupancy and temperature, sharing real-time data with your ecobee smart thermostat from up to 60 feet away—even through walls and floors—so your home's comfort adjusts to the spaces you use most
  • Place a SmartSensor in your bedroom to help your thermostat prioritize nighttime comfort for that room instead of relying on a single reading elsewhere
  • Detects occupancy to help your thermostat reduce energy consumption by adjusting settings when your home is empty while keeping comfort ready for your return
  • View temperature and occupancy by room and adjust settings using the ecobee app on iOS or Android
  • Wireless design allows placement with a detachable stand or adhesive wall-mounting bracket; simple installation with included batteries and no wiring or tools required
  • Detects unexpected motion when your system is armed and can send alerts for added peace of mind, helping you stay aware of what's happening at home (requires an active ecobee Smart Security subscription)
  • Includes two SmartSensors, allowing you to prioritize comfort in more rooms and create an even temperature experience throughout your home
  • Each included CR2477 battery is rated for up to 5 years of power for minimal maintenance
