We often say that the Fortis 5 ARGB is one of the quietest coolers in its class. It has been rigorously tested through hours of podcast recordings, chatting with friends, as well as streaming. Thanks to this we can definitely say: it is quiet. Even when doing all the above at the same time!
A constant stream of airflow is supplied by the award-winning Fluctus 140 PWM fan, which also includes an optional semi-passive mode. The blades have been shaped in such a way as to blow as much air as possible through the densely arranged heatsink fins. The fan reduces temperatures to such an extreme degree that we have a theory: if our plans to create the Fluctus 1400m fan ever come to fruition, another ice age might be unleashed on the world. Each blade has a wavy edge, which further reduces fan noise (psychoacoustic optimizations used in Fluctus fans are patent pending).
