[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the cost, I would say this was a fair product. I was having spam adware issues on my laptop. I purchased the FixMe Stick as a measure to help remove any items that might be causing issues on my PC that my antivirus was not catching. Initially I did no notice any improvement upon using this product. However the following week and since then the adware has almost completely disappeared. I also a dew days after installing the FixMe stick, also upgraded to Windows 10, so I am not certain which had the better impact. I suspect it was the Windows upgrade that actually solved the issue since that was when the adware stopped being such a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My computer had a problem in explorer where some kind of virus would take it to other webpages and not allowing me to get out. The only way I could get out was the shut explorer down with the task manager and start over. In a brief amount of time the virus would reappear and I would have to start over again. This made my computer basically useless. I ran the Fixme Stick and it seems to have found and corrected the problem. The only minor problem that I had was that Fixme opened slow. Once it opened everything went just fine and the computer now is doing what it's suppose to. I choose the webpage and it stays there until I change it.

I BOUGHT ONE OF THESE LAST FEBRUARY. I HAVE YET TO GET IT TO WORK/SCAN. I HAVE EMAILED, CHATTED ONLINE AND TALKED TO THE COMPANY ON THE PHONE. THEY HAVE NOT GIVEN ME THE ENOUGH INFORMATION OR SEEM TO CARE THAT IT DOES NOT WORK. TONIGHT I WILL THROWING THEIR PRODUCT IN THE TRASH ALONG WITH THE FIFTY SOME DOLLARS I SPENT ON IT. MY COMPUTER DOES NOT WORK ANY BETTER THAN IT DID. I DO NOT BLAME BEST BUY FOR THIS. I BLAME THE COMPANY THAT MADE IT. FIXMESTICK COMPANY AND THEIR PRODUCT ARE NOTHING BUT A JOKE AND A WASTE OF MONEY.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fixed my lap top in 2 hours. I was experiencing adware and hopelessly trying to delete programs which were loading as fast as I would delete them. My desk top wasn't as easy. Took 4 hours to scan and 44 hours to "clean." Was better, but same programs which were loading on my lap top were compounded by frozen screens with messages to "call microsoft technicians." I would force shutdown and have limited access and the frozen screens would return. I called FixMeStick Support and "Hannah" did a remote access and after multiple attempts was able to get in and find the offending programs. I was more than impressed.

I have used the "FixMeStick" device for a few years, and it works! It is easy to use and very effective! My Industrial and Construction background involved highly technical machinery, including robotics and Vibration Analysis. This software program is brilliant, and with the "Wild West" Internet viruses looking to latch on to under-protected computers, this "Stick" is necessary equipment to keep your Operating System clear of viruses! I had a couple of things not quite right with my Desktop. I tried Norton 360 - didn't work so I tried a downloaded programs - actually 3 different ones - Didn't work. I then remembered an ad I head about the FixMe stick and I went online to order it. (not available in the physical stores though - pity) I had to wait 3 days before I got it but when I out it in, it initially would not work, I tried it 3 times and finally it decided it had to update the program and after a download, it ran well. It removed ALL the issues I had and now my Desktop is running smooth again without all the popups, browser hijacks and things. I recommend this to all who are tired of pulling your hair out. 5 out of 5

I've been having major problems with popups and possible serious viruses on my computer. Heard about this product and thought would take a chance and ordered it on line from Best Buy received it yesterday. Plugged it into my computer and two hours later came up with a number of viruses, some very serious which it removed. Computer is like new. No popups no serious issues regarding viruses. I can't say enough about this product. Its great! I know I sound like a shill for it but believe me I'm just your ordinary computer user with not the greatest computer savy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent Product, does what is says. All Pro's, with one draw back which is not due to the product itself. I have a Toshiba, 2 HP's and a Lenovo Yoga. Works like a dream on all but the Lenovo, due to the system does not have the normal optional boot program. The FixMeStick Support worked with me with excellent support to solve the problem and found away around the boot problem. But sadly the system itself still tired to stop the program from working. With that said, this is an excellent safety step, I recommend for all to remove viruses. Remembering the rate of advancement of technology this is not a 100% fix for all possible issues. this is the best option available now and I believe the best possible step for future problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The device did do a scan and said it quarantined and removed a significant number of viruses. However, the machine does not run any differently than before. It is possible that the poor performance is due to a hardware issue. I performed the scan on a laptop that is about 6 years old, so more than likely it's just time to replace the machine. Overall, the concept is beautifully simple and user friendly. I believe that it does perform as advertised, and likely you could see a boost in performance if you are running an up to date machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of box it required a "wired" internet connection. The 2in1 YOGA has no wired internet connection port. An intelligent guess on my part. Upgrade provided for wireless internet. There is no phone support that I could find. In frustration I performed the factory upgrade listed on their support page. Tech support took days to respond via email. But when they did it was to perform the factory upgrade. Otherwise I would give it five stars. Overall it otherwise found a few Trojans and removed them. Smooth sailing thereafter.
