This set includes four plastic 81mm mortar teams and three unit cards for use in Flames of War.

About the Unit:

The 81mm mortar was the standard U.S. medium mortar of World War II, capable of suppressing enemy positions, supporting infantry assaults, and disrupting counterattacks. For airborne forces, it was invaluableâlight enough to be dropped or transported by glider, but powerful enough to give paratroopers a dependable source of indirect fire until larger artillery could be brought to bear.

About the Models:

Designed in 15mm scale, this plastic kit features detailed mortar crews representing American airborne forces. Supplied unassembled and unpainted, the models allow for customization to match your Flames of War army. The included unit cards make it easy to field the platoon in your airborne company.
