We are very happy with this purchase. The refrigerator looks great in our kitchen. Ours is the fingerprint resistant stainless steel French door. Very spacious refrigerator. This has the filtered water dispenser on the inside. One change I would have wanted would be for the water dispenser to be a one handed operated button. As it is you must use two hands to operate. One hand to hold the cup and the other hand to push the water dispensing button. This option already exists in other brands. Other than that, the price was better than all of the other refrigerators we considered. The value is definitely there.

I love my new GE fridge. Mind you I’ve only had it a month so I can’t say how it’ll be long term, but as of a month later, I can say it’s quiet, keeps the food cold, makes great ice quickly. I love the LED light and how it brightens - pretty cool. Practical-love the shelves in the freezer. They are full shelves…not wire racks. The fridge space is also optimized with no big bulky light in the middle and the water filter compartment is small, out of the way. I wanted a clean front, so I love the water dispenser inside and the ice maker below. Highly recommend. Now, let’s hope it continues to give me the 5 star rating as far as durable. I am hopeful since I love the overall fridge.

Roomy fridge, intentionally bought because of a sale, and very few bells and whistles to break. Did not want water and ice dispenser, which no longer worked on our old fridge 2 years in. Did not want an ice maker in the door which takes up a lot of space. We just had it installed today. Its simple lines is appreciated. It had good reviews online, so hopefully this fridge runs well for years, but we all know they rarely do now. The first fridge we bought 25 years ago still runs great, we have only had one minor repair. This is our first GE appliance. Fingers crossed!

We had a side by side fridge that finally bit the dust after 27 years and had to get something to replace it. This fridge is a little bigger than what we had, so it sticks out a little farther than the old one, but the room inside the fridge is great! Love the shelving - one adjusts back so you can fit taller items on the shelf below. Love the freezer at the bottom! Ice maker is there and very easy to remove the tray it falls into. Water dispenser is inside the refrigerator. Makes room for bigger door storage! Love, love, love this refrigerator!!

This fridge has a number of issues upon installation. It’s LED lights were not functioning, the doors are lightweight and fling open, the fridge moves back and forth when opening the freezer and fridge doors. The water dispenser nozzle doesn’t come out far enough for a clean pour into a mormal glass, cup, or water bottle. The dispenser button gets stuck and is hard to press. It doesn’t let the water run continuously. Air is constantly in the filter and spats water every where. The wifi on the refrigerator doesnt work.

I so love my refrigerator! When I first bought it, I was wondering if I made the right decision. When I saw it in my house, I just knew I made the right choice. There are moments where I look at it in complete awe and just run my fingers across it. It’s so spacious and holds everything that I need it to hold. The freezer is one of the best features. I’m able to slide the little trays to make room as I need it and I love my ice maker. It’s everything I never thought that I wanted. I’m so glad I bought it.

This review is after the first week of having the new fridge. We upgraded to this from a 12 year old standard style (top freezer) 18cu ft unit. The differences were quite noticeable! The space inside especially for the bottom freezer. Having the sliding portion at the top keeps everything easily accessible. I love the the French doors can be opened or closed from either side (I've seen some models where you have to open one side first in order to open both sides). I saw some complaining about the lack of layout options for the shelving in the fridge portion but (maybe because I'm coming from a smaller fridge) I found a lot of versatility with the layouts. I love that the top right shelf can easily slide back and become half the depth. Super quiet, super clean look, and ample lighting make this an upgrade I have no regrets about.

Decent size, looks nice, but some features could be improved. The water dispenser should dispense by just pressing your cup against a lever instead of having to place it and then press a button above; it’s more convenient to only have to use one hand to get water. The water filter should not be in the inside of the fridge, as it takes up too much space. Also, the shelves in the doors should be more square shaped to give slightly more storage room; the way they are angled in takes away possible storage space in the doors. The shelves should also be more adjustable with regard to the height of the space between shelves. Additionally, if the ice maker puts the ice in a tray instead of dispensing it, a scoop should be provided with the fridge. Aside from these things, the fridge cools well, has lots of space and has been very reliable up to this point.

Love this GE refrigerator! Plenty of storage space, excellent lighting and really quiet. Has electronic features that beep when doors are left open. French doors on top make it very easy to see inside and bottom freezer has plenty of room. This is a large unit for just two people but I can organize much easier and no more bending over to see what's inside. Of course you can adjust all the shelving to suit your personal needs. This fridge comes in several colors with an ice maker, I chose the stainless steel - it does show fingerprints but they are easy to wipe off just using some stainless steel cleaner. We are very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought I loved our old refrigerator but I truly love this fridge. There is so much room in the fridge section which includes adjustable shelves. The temperature controls are easy to access and understand. The ice maker is in the freezer. This feature is amazing as it frees up so much space in the refrigerator compartment. The only dislike is the internal water dispenser. There is a hard plastic tube and there is hardly enough room to dispense water, especially in a water bottle. This feature also takes 2 hands and it is difficult to see when the bottle is full. It also sprays water everywhere if you don't get the water bottle positioned just right. This is a design flaw. It should have a pliable tube or a nozzle. I am constantly getting a towel to clean up the water. Even with this flaw, I still highly recommend this refrigerator. It was very efficient in cooling quickly after installation. I was able to put food in within a couple of hours.
