My front load Samsung frontnload washer and dryer quit and this isnthe set my landlord purchased in its place...well one of the things I dont like about it is that when I am washing a load of laundry in it, the load always gets lopsided and u have to pause the wash open lid and tey and rearrange the heavy soaking wet items so that it will spun out proper...this is really annoying when u have a wet heavy blanket and u have to try and rearrange this heavy item and its every time I do laundry...its a real pain in the butt...not to mention shoulders and back ...plus other problems that I wont even bother to mention....I dont recommend at all..

The machine sounds like someone is shifting gears with the clutch, this is the second machine and I am not happy, I would tell the rest of the story but you wouldn't bele4ive it. Does anyone else have a noise problem?

I originally went looking for this machine at another retailer. They told me it was back-ordered to China and I could expect to have it in 6 weeks, maybe, if I picked it up at the corporate warehouse. Best Buy had the item in stock and was able to deliver the same week. Communication has been excellent, although the delivery guys weren't aware they had to get it up a flight of stairs. I took care of that. Machine works as advertised. My fiancee is very happy with it. She loves laundry and is delighted with this machine.

Awesome gentlemen delivered the product I did the installation myself and hookup myself Preliminary observations and operations are good All went well with the exception of the drum in the washer was not working properly Upon further investigation I found that the drive belt (motor to drum) has fallen off - maybe never installed properly Design of the "Drum Pulley" and lack of a properly designed pulley might be an issue Once I installed the belt all was good and the machine is working very well Major issue with the washer lid, poor trim on the sheet metal. leaving two sharp areas in the handle area.

The pump failed on it a year after purchase , and now that the extra warranty I bought on it has just passed, the pump issues are reappearing. I would not buy this washer again.

One only issue. Very difficult to install side venting. There are no knockouts on the side and the factory venting is pointing to the back. To side vent, you have to install 90 which takes some space behind the laundry center. Very bad design, considering that this unit is expected for use in apartments where is limited space. As its operation, is doing excellent job.

Waited 4 weeks for this product and it finally came so excited delivery people hooked it up and I waited about 3 hours before I used it well the washers was loud and the dryer was like a freaking rock was rolling around in it so here I am having to go to a laundromat which cost me over 50 dollars and now I have to wait until the middle of November before a new one can get to me . I called GE number and was told that a representative or technician would contact me within 24 hours that was the evening of October 16th and to this day have not heard from them so disappointed 😔

KIT BRACKET AND SPACER LC 27 WH13X38537 fell into the wash basket. How do I reinstall it. I see the part on the diagram, but does not show exact monting location and how it is secured. Please advise

Oh, it's a good looking appliance, and the controls are easy, and the dryer performs well. This unit replaced an earlier front loading washer dryer combo that was in use for about 13 years. We wear the same clothes that we wore with the first unit. So why does this washer, unlike the earlier one, insist on coating my navy blue trousers in lint? The previous washer, in all the time we had it, never went out of balance in the spin cycle. This washer does so frequently. Rearranging the load rarely fixes the problem. Even a thin mattress cover by itself had it out of balance.

I have moved a lot in my life and had many different W/D sets. This is without question the worst set ever. We have had trouble with lint on the clothes, and with strange marks showing on dark clothing. We have tried everything to address the problems. The lint problem is better with rigorous sorting (never had to do it to this extent) but the random marks left on the wash is still a mystery. This is a top load set. My experience is that it uses very little water. This may be the problem. When I owned front loading HE machines I never experienced anything like this.
