[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some installers will not stack your washer dryer combo without this. It is supposed to stop the dryer from vibrating off the washer however you could achieve the same effect with non-skid pads for cheaper depending. I think it is quite flimsy but I had to get it because i'm stacking. You may not have the option to NOT get it.

I’ve spent way too much time on the phone with the parts department and have been transferred, hung up on and ignored and if you’re considering this bracket and adjoining units, then I WOULD PASS. Actually choose a dog brand altogether. I won’t be buying any GE stuff ever again it’s been so frustrating.

This kit requires 4 small screws and 2 larger screws. The kit comes with perhaps 8 small screws and 1 large screw. Been trying for days to get the necessary screw sent to me and have been forwarded to multiple departments and third parties to resolve the problem.

The dryer comes with a stacking kit, double-check this before spending 50$ on another kit, Sales people will not be honest about this and told me I had to purchase another kit.
