[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kettle is every easy to use. The water heats up quickly and the blue light is a nice touch. Turn on the switch on the bottom of the handle and off it goes. The blue light turns off to let you know when the water is done boiling. The handle stays cool and the outside glass gets warm but not too hot. Perfect size and works very well. I'm very happy with this product and I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Hamilton Beach 1.7L glass Kettle to heat up water fast and keep it hot. I drink a lot of tea and wanted to try an Electric Kettle. The Hamilton Beach 1.7L glass Kettle is perfect for the task. It hold plenty of water and re-heats the water really fast. I like the blue light on the inside bottom so I can see from a distance when the water is done and it's really cool looking. I really like that the cord wraps up in the bottom for easy storage and I don't have another plug taking up a precious outlet when not in use. I'm very happy I decided to try this Kettle, my new favorite kitchen appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my very first electric kettle and I only used on the stovetops ones. This is quite a blessing when I am cooking more than ever at home and drinking coffee, green tea and hot water all the time. This kettle boils the water in no time which was not possible on the stovetop. I can have the hot water ready for my cooking, baking, or coffees and teas. This a very easy appliance to use, not a list of To do or not To do. I am very satisfied with this kettle. My only suggestion would be to make the opening or you say lid of the kettle wider or detachable so that cleaning comes out easy. As of now its not so easy to wash the kettle since opening is narrow, can not completely put in my hand in to wash with the soapy water. I hope you make this possible soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has got to be the worst tea kettle I have ever used, it starts to leak right away, so when it starts to boil expect water everywhere, when you start to pour a cup water spills from the base and if you're not careful enough it will burn your hands. I am shocked it hasn't been recalled yet because it should be illegal for them to sell this fire hazard. Every time I turn it on, it knocks my kitchen breaker out. I didn't think there was anything worse than Bella Bella Pro and insignia but I was wrong, at least those products lasted two years not one like this one. If you need a Kitchen Kettle get yourself a chef man.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that it has a cool blue light to let you know it’s boiling, then when the light is out, that it’s ready. Also, love love love the strainer in the spout so you can boil loose tea or whatever, and pour without it falling in your mug (the strainer keeps it restrained). Love that the heating element is the same size as the kettle and outside the kettle. It’s the perfect electric kettle at an awesome price!!! Being see through helps to know when to add water, and when light goes out. I used to love kettles that match the toaster and mixer, but no more! This one is perfectly designed and clear goes with all decor!

Got this 2 years ago for our wedding. Surprised to see so many bad reviews. I'll try to negate some concerns: 1. make sure it clicks when closing the lid else it'll boil dry, (standard with all kettles) 2. Pretty sure its made of metal that doesn't rust. Two years no issues and we boil water 3 times a day. 3. when the kettle is off and cool, pour a tiny amount of vinegar in and leave for 1-5 minutes to dissolve any stains on the plate. 4. its never leaked. 5. Lots of compliments on our kettle.

Coming from a plastic kettle we used for years: Clear glass and blue light are nice. We have no problems with pouring even though there is no screen at the spout. Heavier than the plastic one but manageable. Imparts some plasticky taste to the water, not overwhelming though. Wobbles a bit on its base, seems the spring of the contact switch underneath is quite firm and does not deflect sufficiently unless the kettle is pushed down with more force than the weight of the water in the kettle can exert. The kettle takes its time coming to the boil and switching off, compared to the old one, even though stated wattage is the same.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this product for about a week now, and I’ve used it almost everyday since receiving it. It is stylish, sleek, quick to heat up and very easy to use. I love the cord storage that is built into the base. It makes it easy to put away and not have to deal with a cord getting tangled up with other appliances. The unit heats up in about two minutes, much quicker than other kettles I have tried. I also enjoy the large water capacity of this unit, but do find that I rarely fill it all the way up to its maximum capacity. The blue light is a fun touch. Highly recommend this product for anyone in the market for a kettle.
