    Black spots

    I boil water two or maybe three times, it starts to build up these black spots where the bubbles form on kettle (bottom) not sure What this is? I wipe it and it’s almost black, but wipes clean. Then I use again, the same thing happens? Any ideas? Kinda creeping me out.

    I bought a similar 1,7 liter Hauz kettle a year ago from a local drug store, not from Best Buy.. After daily use since October 2016, I was very surprised and disappointed when it failed to function this morning, Nov 29, 2017.. I tried it on several different electrical outlets but no joy, no power, no boiling water. Hauz is not a brand I am familiar with. I have replaced it with a Hamilton Beach illuminated glass kettle from Best Buy and hope to get more than 13 months' service from it. it comes with a 5-year warranty.

    10 minutes to come to a rolling boil

    Just bought this at Vision Electronic-good price -$18.00 CDN Looked good and liked the Illuminating lights. Compared my old kettle with new one- Proctor-Silex with auto shut-off-came to a full boil in 4 minutes Hauz Kettle-Time the boil time-10 minutes Will be returning the Hauz Illuminating Glass Kettle

    Will only last 6-9 months

    I bought 1 kettle a little over a year ago and it lasted about 9 months then stoped working. Thinking I may of just had bad luck I purchased a second one on sale about 4 months ago. It stopped working today. Very poor quality.

    Worst Ever Kettle

    Bought from Vision electronics three months before when on sale. Hardly used for 2-3 times and now stopped working. Very low-quality kettle. Don't buy even on sale

    Hauzl Kettle

    I'm a big tea drinker and after a year this kettle has been more than fine. It is easy to fill to any level, is quick to heat to boiling particularly for a fast cup in the morning and has an easy hand hold. I also like the blue illumination which let's me know instantly if there is a power problem. It has always worked and does not leak or spill . Unlike other kettles of this type I don't have to constantly dry the bottom power unit. I recommend this unit.
