- 564 Ink cartridges- August 5, 2011
This ink cartridge as well as all the others that work with the HP Photosmart Prem Web C309 n-s printer are too small and do not last anywhere near as long as my old HP Photosmart C6100 printer that I had/have from years ago. IF I'd had any idea of the ink hog it is, even in draft mode, I'd have never purchased it. The cartridges are more expensive, smaller, and do not go nearly far enough, even using just the larger black for draft printing.Shipping is fine, printing is fine, but ink usage is too high and cartridges are too small, and far to expensive. It is less expensive to send them out for printing but that means I cannot do what I want for scrapbooking. No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
- The ink for this printer is horrible- August 18, 2011
I have had to buy more ink than ever for this printer. Both black and color!! To think I especially wanted to purchase a "HP" printer because of the problems I was having with my "Epson" The ink doesn't last and the quality is so so. Wish I had never purchased this "All in One" thinking it would more compatible with my desktop computer (which happens to be a HP). Also, they do not make a combo pack and you have to buy two different black inks One is for the photo portion and the other is for the regular portion. If you want to spend a lot of money in keeping the ink supply adequate BUY A HP PRINTER!!No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
- HP cartridge 564 do not live up to expectations- July 19, 2015
The HP 564 ink cartridges, whether black or color, do not deliver the number of copies suggested by HP on their website or by sales personal at the retailers following HP recommendations. HP professes a 250 copy capability. Instead, I experienced a dramatic difference. I took the time to log three (3) black cartridges. The result was 150-163 copies. In talking with HP , I stated that the darkness setting made little to no difference.Quite possibly there may be a resolve to this matter. If not,the only reason to own a printer would be an expensive convenience to HP costumers. Do the math for yourself. No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
