Substitutes for the highly-priced HP 58A may not work even if advertised to include “the chip” which locks the 58A into the HP network. On the other hand, for the everyday household casual user, the 58A seems to last forever, well beyond its low toner earnings, so it’s extremely high price and stocked rarity in the marketplace could be justified if we were assured replacement were totally new and not recycled out of HP’s prepaid used cartridge return program.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HP LaserJet Ink Toner cartridge is very easy to install and the package includes a postage free label to recycle your empty toner cartridge. Don't settle for a knock-off ink toner cartridge. HP is pricey, but stands behind their brand. That's more one can say about companies that sell compatible, but cheaper toner cartridges that don't quite match up to the quality of a genuine HP toner cartridge.

Buyers... we bought a new HP all in one printer. The store didn't have a cartridge that it needed. So... we went on line to purchase an extra cartridge & guess what we discovered??? The laser printer NOW has to have a cartridge with a computer chip. What does that mean. You are forced to Purchase a HP cartridge because no cheaper place has them.

It was easy to set up, prints quick and easy to use. I originally bought a Canon, it was difficult to set up was having problems with it printing scanning etc. within two weeks of purchasing the Canon I returned it and bought an HP - LOVE IT!!

The online purchase process was very simple, and the pickup time at the store was quick and punctual. It was very easy to locate and collect the product. The only downside is that the price is not as competitive compared to other options available in the market.

This is the best high yield toner you can get for your printer. Sure, it's more expensive than aftermarket or third party toner but in the end you end up getting what you pay for and this high yield toner cartridge proves to be worth the money. You will get approximately 10,000 pages from this cartridge.

this is my third HP printer and so far it is doing everything asked of it, which us alot. Compact. Not the quickest, not the slowest, but reliable and able to handle a large volume. I have had other brands, but after 12 years of running a small business the HP is always the brand I go back to.

Speed and functionality are from my perspective unbeatable. Less laudable is incompatibility of toner cartridges for this machine's predecessor , the 426, with the 428. HP, will you detail why outside of obvious financial motive this machine cannot accept cartridges purchased for the 426 ?

I had an awful time trying to get it set up, and trying to get a "real" person to help me. I would never have figured it out. Now, it does pretty well, but still having problems with it wanting to kick tray 1 back to modifying the letter size paper in it. Other than that, it is nice.

HP has always performed excellent for me as well as my family. Simply put HP products are the best your money can buy. I will only buy HP products!
