Bought this fridge and after just short of 2 years, it stopped working completely. After calling several repair shops, nobody would service the brand Insignia. I finally found one repair guy who said he could service it. When he diagnosed the problem, he was unable to find the part needing replacement ANYWHERE. Calling best buy/geek squad was not helpful. They refused to service it as it was out of warranty and would not tell me if/where I could get parts that would work with this brand. I contacted Insignia directly and they also said they could not sell parts and you couldn't get them anywhere else. Wish I spent a little extra in the past for a good product or at least a product that was serviceable.

The sales rep at Best Buy was very helpful in convincing us to purchase this fridge. The delivery people were polite and efficient. Day 1 : Thursday Oct 1. After waiting a good hour, more than recommended after installation, we plugged the fridge in. After a few hours we noticed the exterior sides of the fridge were Unusually warm. We looked up this situation and made several calls to Best Buy and the geek squad. We were told that the sides feel warm for awhile when the fridge is first turned on. Friday: exterior sides still warm to the touch. Top drawer compartment in freezer totally frosted up. We turned both the fridge and freezer settings to 1 ( they had both been on 2 ).

Hardest thing so far was finding the plug, so I'm letting anyone else who's wondering know the plug wire is Grey and it's on the Left side the extended part of the wire is twist tied and tucked behind the compressor, great for making sure the circuitry doesn't get damaged, but having to get on the floor and feel around for it was the worst part of this purchase. That said the floor gliders work great I have a couple options of where to put it and I'll decide permanent location later. The delivery guys were great! All communications were timely. All in all a good start.

We purchased this fridge in June 2020 and have had nothing but issues since we received it. It turns off for days at a time and then starts working again. We’ve placed 4 service calls with Geek squad and never get a call back- when we do call them, we are told “there is no record of your call”. Thousands of dollars of food gone bad and we are still waiting on that call back.

I needed a fridge in a hurry. I have a small space and needed the hinges to be on the left, this was pretty much my only option. The shelves are terrible cheap plastic and not very adjustable. There are no dividends in the freezer. I leave fingerprints all over the door when I open it. I’m disappointed in the product as a whole. If I had time I would have bought something different.

My fridge failed and I needed a new one in a hurry. Functionally the fridge is fine, cools and freezes well as you'd expect a new fridge to do. However it's oddly loud. When you shut the door it gurgles. When it's just standing there it clicks and pops. Not always but sometimes. It's a cheap fridge, does the job but I wouldn't have bought it if I wasn't in a hurry. If you're looking for something to last you 10 yrs... I'm not confident about this model!

Purchased this fridge in a bundle. Dishwasher right after the 1 year mark broke down. Glass exploded on the oven just over 2 years. Now 2.5 years in a the fridge has stopped working. Also most appliance repair company’s do not repair insignia!DO NOT BUY INSIGNIA APPLIANCES THEY ARE GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

We got this fridge in September of 2020, and not a single complaint! The only thing I wish it had was a door handle. However, that said, it is very roomy, very quiet, and does everything perfectly. Would buy again!

Overall good. The gurgling noise mention in other reviews is a result of the vacuum seal process. Warm air enters the unit with the door or drawer open. When again closed, the unit removes much of that air. Because of this, it is almost impossible to open the unit again for almost a minute. So open the unit, get some milk, close door, poor milk, wait forever to open door to return milk. Not ever a light to say you can now pull without pulling a muscle. That said I learned to cope but poor design.

Fridge makes loud strange noises several times a day Makes me wonder if this fridge will last !
