- Great cable for a great price!- 28 juillet 2017
This CAT-6 cable is built very well with a snag free connector. It has gold plated connectors which help provide a better connection, and a longer lasting cable. Also this cable is a little bit thick and hard, however I view this as a good thing because it would be very hard to kink this cable or get it all knotted up. Overall, I get the speed a CAT-6 cable provides for a fraction of the price of buying some super overly expensive cable which you are only paying because of the name brand. No reason to spend $40.00-$50.00 on the same cable just because it has a name like Monster on it.

I got this to help build an in-room network for my kids dorm room. The college put a single network port in a very poor location so I needed some cables that could survive dorm life. Its been a month since that was done and there have been no issues with any of the cables. Most of the cables remain connected full time but a couple get reconnected on a regular basis as the laptop goes to classes and labs. So far the network is running smoothly so thats an indication of a good cable.

The quality of construction is good for home use environment. I have it linking my Comcast router to a D-Link wireless router. I don't think I'll be getting the 1000Mbps internet this cable is rated for in the Boston area any time soon, but maybe it's good risk management for the future? I have 300Mbps internet and am getting 170Mbps on my 5GHz channel in a crowded apartment complex using this cable to network my router. Works for me - 5 stars.
