I've been fiddling with my laptop charger for a while. I looked up answers for why my Acer laptop was misbehaving, and most said it was a main board problem, that the charging circuits must be on the way out. Finally, today, the laptop just wouldn't charge or run on AC power. For fun, I tested the charger and sure enough it was flat...0.00 volts. I'm usually sketchy on "universal" chargers, but this is cheaper than a new laptop. I attached the Acer tip to the charger, plugged it in, and back in business. No review regarding how long the charger will last, but construction seems to be solid. I'm happy with my purchase.

DO NOT BUY THIS CHARGER UNLESS YOU ARE SURE IT WILL FIT. I have been going through a 5 month battle trying to get the proper tip to fit my laptop. Multiple calls with Best Buy customer support (they can't help because it's Insignia), multiple calls with Insignia customer support (took until call number 4 for them to tell me they can't help because I'm in Canada - why is Best Buy selling US chargers if we can't get customer support here??). Anyway I have no idea whether or not the charger is any good but I'm beyond frustrated that one tiny piece of plastic is the barrier to me using this thing and no one has been able to help me get it.

Bought this today bears I was in a pinch after dogs ate my charger. Went to do my work, and there are no tips that fit my computer. Asked my son to trade me his universal charger for this news one, because I know his has a to that fits my computer. But this new one also doesn’t fit his computer! I phoned the number on the box twice that says you can phone to get tip that fits. After a run-around the service person fondly told me just to go return it to Best Buy. What a waste of a day. So deeply frustrating. I previously bought one on Amazon that had way More adapters and was half the price. Back to Amazon I go…

The Asus charger from this pack burned and melted inside my charging port. Its deformed the entry, on.off button and part of the upper frame. I cannot charge my work laptop anymore. The laptop was charging closed when this happened.

I have a Toshiba Satellite P70-A, and this charger works just fine for charging, so that's cool. The "block" part of it is is even notably smaller than my original charger. That being said, the cord is not as long as my first cord, and while it is a bit of a knit pick, I can no longer hang the cord over the side of my desk the way I did before, or else the block is dangling in mid air, pulling on the plug, so that sort of sticks. Nonetheless, it works properly, and has a properly fitting plug tip, so I'm sticking with it.

This product eventually recharges battery on my ASUS laptop. However, if my battery is low and I am using the laptop, it is an issue. The connection between laptop and charger is so loose that there are 'pop up' messages every few seconds that the battery is charging. It is extremely distracting and annoying. I regret purchasing this charger. I would be willing to pay more for a replacement ASUS laptop charger that actually works without issue and where I can use my laptop without constant pop ups that the laptop is charging.

The adapter is not universal. Save your time and money and get a better product.

This charger is definitely not universal I was in a desperate situation my computer hadn't worked and I needed it to do my job they promised me that this charger would work it does not when I contacted the website they said they would send me an attachment that would fit my computer I asked them how long they said a couple of days over a week later I got a tracking message that said it was coming from California and going to be yet another week I don't have that kind of time!

there is no right tip for my computer, so i have to returned it.

Doesn't fit a 2018 Dell Inspiron 5575 and the documentation is confusion. The tip configurator is confusion also as it recommends a tip that is included but is way too big. MT23 Doesn't fit. MT58 is not included but they want to send you another MT23. NOTE: Dell users may experience compatibility issues with tip MT58; in this case, tip MT23 is recommended.
