Easy to Install.
- April 1, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 4 different MINI-MACs that I use for different purposes and need to switch between them depending upon the task at hand. One of these I need to open and convert old MacDraw drawings to PDF format on another MINI-MAC which has a newer operating system. I use another which is on at all times to share a printer with others in this house and another which I shut down when I am finished down-loading or up-loading private information. This switch allows quickly connecting the same monitor, mouse, and keyboard to any of the four computers by depressing a tiny pushbutton which is mounted remotely near the keyboard.

Works well
- February 6, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this on three computers, one running Windows 7, one Fedora 15 and one Windows Server 2008 r2. It's well designed and organized, all the cables for each computer are kept together so it's easy and not confusing to connect. The only glitch I've discovered so far was it has to be set to the Fedora machine when I boot it up or it doesn't want to work on it. Other than that I can, and have, switched between machines with little trouble. There is a slight delay switching between machines. It's cheaper than running multiple monitors, keyboards and mice, and less clutter on the desktop.

Well, it works
- October 6, 2010[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KVM works, but it's not perfect. I'm only using 3 of 4 ports, but I must cycle through all four ports regardless of the fact one is not in use. Also, the delay sometimes for the USB keyboard/mouse to be recognized again upon changing computers/ports can be quite long some times (like 10 seconds). If your switching to a computer where something like a Skype call is coming in and wan to mouse click the answer button then you can't count on being successful before it goes to voicemail--I found that out. Also, I have a Vista system that just will not recognize the keyboard if I used the KVM, so I had to set up a separate keyboard for that system--kind of defeats the purpose of the KVM there! However, all in all it works as it should.

Works pretty well.
- October 19, 2010[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it to connect 2 laptops and get them off the desk and out of the way. It was quick and easy to plug in but I find that the monitor doesn't always kick in fast enough. I have to cycle through the 4 ports a few times and snap the laptop cover shut a couple times. Also, since I only have 2 hook ups the remaining 2 KVM cables just take up space. I wish the unused cables could be disconnected but they're hardwired in.

Works well, but has issues
- August 2, 2014[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KVM switch works and does provide the functionality needed however, the system that is not the currently connected system does not get monitor connected data. With my setup, I have a second monitor connected not through the switch and when switching from the one it is connected to ALL the windows stack on the other monitor as if the monitor through the KVM switch is not there and there is only 1 monitor.

Great quality for a inexpensive KVM
- January 23, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I really like this KVM. Only a few items that I wish were different. One is the button push to change over. It seems like a nice feature, but liked the old scroll lock twice more, and now have to find the button on my desk to switch over. The other is that it doesn't integrate sound like some of the other KVMs. Neither are deal breakers, just some slight annoyances.

Couldnt get it to work continously
- July 1, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had 3 computers that I wanted to put on 1 monitor, mouse, and keyboard. I hooked everything up, but one computer wouldn't come up...I tried changing the order of the cables...that seemed to work, until the next day, then two of my computers wouldn't work on the switch. I could never get all my systems working at the same time after that. I returned the item.

Does what it says, making it easy to control 4 pcs
- March 12, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enter this handy little switch to allow us to share the keyboard, video, and monitor among up to 4 desktop and/or laptops. Setup was very easy, with the most challenging task being crawling under the desk to thread wires. Once everything was hooked up, I was easily able to switch between the XP and the Windows Seven rig.

Great kvm
- June 13, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love KVMs. I think they are one of the best inventions for anyone with more than one machine but no room for individual setups. My one complaint is that it has a button to change which computer you're controlling one at a time cycling through all 4 instead of a switch board to choose faster.
