THE RITUAL

Pour in the white sand, set the stones, pagoda, bridge and cherry tree, then rake slow patterns with the three included rakes. Zen gardens are a centuries-old meditation practice: arranging and re-arranging the garden relieves stress and helps you pursue a little inner peace in the middle of a workday.

The plain, dignified styling suits an office desk, a bookshelf, a reception counter or a meditation space, and the Japanese-pattern gift packaging makes it a thoughtful present for anyone who could use more calm.
