JBL Stage3 Gen2 38F 3-1/2" 50W RMS 2-Way Coaxial Car Speaker

Description:

The JBL Stage3 38F 3-1/2" (89mm) coaxial speaker embodies JBL’s legendary sound, delivering powerful audio in the car. The woofer cone is manufactured using a laser-etched tool, features the patented Plus One™ design for increased surface area, and is reinforced with 10% glass fiber to play deeper, more resonant bass. Additionally, the PEI balanced dome tweeter ensures improved sound distribution, resulting in crystal-clear highs and creating an immersive listening experience that elevates your car audio setup. The speaker’s true 4-ohm load design maximizes power output from your head unit or amplifier, compensating for system resistance to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, the speakers incorporate post-consumer recycled plastic components, PVC-free wiring, and packaging printed with soy-based inks, thereby minimizing environmental impact. Finally, precise fitment is critical to the success of this speaker family—ensuring seamless integration and consistent acoustic performance across vehicle platforms.

Plus One™ Woofer Cone Architecture

HARMAN’s patented (US patent #7,548,631) Plus One™ woofers provide more overall cone surface area than other woofers in their class. The result is higher sensitivity, increased low-frequency output, and greater musical character.

Laser-etched Woofer Cone Design

Infused with 10% glass fiber, the woofer cone delivers powerful, resonant bass that enhances the overall listening experience. The laser-etched mold creates a forged carbon fiber effect that shifts visually under different lighting conditions, giving the speaker a sleek and upscale appearance.

True 4-ohm Technology

True 4-ohm load maximizes every watt from your head unit or amplifier by compensating for additional resistance generated in the system.

PEI Balanced Dome Tweeter

This material delivers unparalleled high-frequency clarity, free from harshness - even at high output levels.

Environment-conscious Materials

Stage3 Gen2 speakers incorporate post-consumer recycled plastic materials & PVC-free wiring with packaging utilizing soy-based inks, reflecting the unwavering commitment to environmentally conscious innovation.

Engineered to Fit

Close attention to fitment is paramount to the success of this speaker family.
