I live near a fairly trafficked area with cars. There is also a brewery nearby. Within two hours of running this little devil my room smells great, and I can take deep easy breaths in with no raspy feeling that dusty and pollen gives me. Being that I have a small canine the room also always has a smell of dog. Right now my room smells like fresh air you get a whiff of on the way to the ocean, before the salt, but in between the city smog and the clean breeze of the coast. Very small and light weight. I think my favorite part is there is no superfluous options, though I'd of enjoyed having a timer to set it so it would turn off after an hour of being out of the house.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and after leaving one of my cars parked outside for a couple months without driving it I noticed that mold was growing on the fabric. I put a digital thermometer/humidity meter in the car with the dehumidifier running. After a day 2 cups of water were pulled out of the air in the vehicle. I emptied it a few more times with less water each day over a week and now the humidity is down to a level where mold will not grow. It would also be great for a gun safe since it is quite small but does pull a remarkable amount of moisture from the air for it's size. I'm not sure how well it would work for a whole room since I only used it in a small space but my experience so far has been positive.

I intentionally bought this air purifier/ dehumidifier, because I was hoping it would make noise (in addition to it purifying the air and draining water of course). I work grave shifts at my job, and I prefer to have a more natural sounding white noise other than what a smart phone app can provide while I'm sleeping during the day. It actually wasn't as loud as I was hoping. I ended up switching it out for the one in my daughter's room, and it seems to work great! It seems to work well in the amount of space, is easy to use, and makes enough noise to be her sound machine without being overwhelming during the night. If you are looking for one that is completely silent, however, this maybe isn't the one for you.

I suppose it works as advertised, but it doesn't pull water out fast enough to change the humidity in our bedroom more than a few points from ambient. In other words, if relative humidity outside is 60%, the lowest this unit will bring RH in a room is about 55%. If you plan to use it in a room with a draft, or any room bigger than a small bedroom, you will want a bigger /faster drying unit.

I need dehumidifier since my I have asthmatic reaction to humid air. I have chosen this unit because of combination of features, air dehumidifier and purifier in one. I left my place for about a week with machine on, accidentally. I did not worry a lot since it was said that it should automatically shut off at water tank overflow. Well, when I came back the overflow light was on, but machine was still running; all counter space was flooded. Huge disappointment!

The purifier/dehumifier arrives 4 days earlier than the expected delivery date. Excited! The design is very beautiful and modern. The control panel is touch sensor and can be controlled by your smartphone. This is very nice and convenient. The noise isn't loud. The size is appropriate, not too small, not too big. It fits perfectly in my bed room. The value and the quality is amazing!!

This is a great little unit! I moved into a 2 bedroom apartment that was so humid it was uncomfortable. I didn't want to spend a ton of money or get a large dehumidifier due to limited space and because winter will be here soon so I thought I would give this one a try and would pass it on to my brother for use in his RV if my place was too big for it to handle. I knew it wasn't really built to handle an entire apartment so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect but it has made a measurable improvement and is the perfect size for my needs. It's super quiet and reliably shuts itself off when full which was also important to me. Rather than buying a large unit I would recommend starting with one of these and adding a second one later if one isn't enough.

Ran this in the living room (~400 SQ FT) don't seem to notice much differences. Was about to return it, but my wife placed it in the bed room the other night (~150 SQ FT), I noticed the difference in air quality at night. Will keep it for now and see.

I accidentally fried the innards when I plugged a high-powered oil heater into the same outlet as this device. It tried to keep going but just couldn't. One week later I had a new device and it is now working perfectly on a separate outlet from the heater. All is good. I've noticed a decrease of humidity from average 60's to 50's and lower when this is in working order. I empty it every 3 or 4 days. I'm breathing much better now that's back in place. Kudos to the customer service team for making the return and inspection an easy and pleasant process.

Pros: 1) Small and lightweight = portable and can take into any room easily. 2) 2 in 1 function means one less machine to buy. 3) Does what it advertised to do. Cons: 1. Small means it's only good to use in smaller rooms 2. Filter is non-washable 3. Water tank is 1 litre (i have to dump out once every 7-10 days)
