Bought this last year because KitchenAid has always been known for quality, excellence and reliability. Upon receiving the appliance, I noticed when the doors were installed, the horrible view in my face of my new fridge! Almost in tears.....The glue had raised the material attached to the top of both doors at the corners edge. Which of course is the very front of the fridge and the first thing you see! Also, no matter how the right door was attached, there was either a 1/2" variance from top to bottom in front or a 1/4" variance from the right side to left between the doors. Also, the produce drawers are pathetic and absolutely will not slide out properly or back into place. It's almost like there's small gravel in the slides of the drawers and they catch the humidity control slide each time you close them. I have changed the water filter and now the water leaks constantly from the filter and the ice maker isn't working. I've cut and bruised my finger twice now just trying to place and change the water filter. I can say that it does run quietly and is a very cold fridge. That is the reason I gave it two stars.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Do not buy this product! The technician has been to my house twice in the first week to fix. The temperature gauge is not maintaining the correct temperature in the fridge and the defroster tube was plugged with garbage from the factory and was not defrosting properly. I had water leaking onto my floor after each defrost cycle. Totally unacceptable. Kitchenaid and the sales company could not have cared less since they were already paid and they got their commissions.

I did my homework and wanted a appliance that of better quality, sadly disappointed. The drawers are very cheaply made and don’t slide easily. The handles on the doors are loose . The ice maker doesn’t know when to stop and when you slide out the top drawer, where the ice cubes are they fall down the back and all over the place sometimes onto the floor sometimes into areas that you can’t reach. Beyond disappointing.

Lighting is very bright, ice maker works well and I like the in-fridge digital display. I was disappointed that the black stainless was not fully wrapped without choosing and paying for that option.that was not an obvious decision at purchase.overall, a nice model with some drawbacks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator a month ago. After delivery, we noticed that the top of the doors seem have separation/gaps with insulation visible. This is clearly a defect, rather than damage. We were hoping to purchase other matching KitchenAid appliances for our kitchen, but may end up looking at alternative brands given the defect in quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vegetable / fruit drawers do not slide smoothly and the plastic framework seems flimsy, not sturdy. We had the company we bought the refrigerator from send back an installer to do a rebalance because the doors were swinging open to quickly and we were concerned about the door hinges. They also had reached inside to check foam in back (that we now know is supposed to stay in place) In the process the shelf above the lower drawers is bowed. Not level as the photo shows. Is this normal? They said they ordered a new shelf, but we've yet to receive it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At this price point, compared to the competition, I expect Spill-Proof shelves with rear shelf lips to prevent items from falling in the back of the refrigerator, rubber liners in ALL the door bins, a one-hand dispenser, multiple temperature zone sensors, less flimsy drawer glides, and a freezer section ice-maker drawer that pulls out automatically. Also, the refrigerator section has temperature ranges from 40* top front down to 27* in the rear of the pull out drawer. One plus, and the reason for my purchase: zero clearance doors to the side wall.

The bright, multi-functional interior layout, with large, smoothly running crisper drawers, a slide-out split shelf allowing for tall cartons, the wine rack and fully adjustable shelving and door units is excellent. And the full-width, pull-out deli drawer is fantastic for cheeses, meats and even packaged items that need a chilled space. Although we don’t use the ice-maker and water dispenser as we don’t have a water hook-up, they are nice features that we would use if we did. The freezer is really functional as well, with the divided, top pull-out tray and the roomy baskets below. It also looks sleek and high-end and is quite quiet as well.

We bought this fridge in April 2022. As soon as August 2023, it started making terrible noises. A part was replaced and the noise stoped. Now we are in December 2023, and the same part broke again and the noise is back. Plus, the stainless steel seems to be rusting with rust spots in different places. So bad quality. We bought a stainless steel stove the same day and we do not have this issue with the other company stainless steel.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My husband & I bought this fridge less hen a year ago & the seal on the door has already cracked & broken. We also noticed that the spray foam insulation was not done cleanly & was showing along a lot of the seals as well. The size of the fridge is nice & the temperature controls are a nice feature. For the price of the product & reputation of the company I had expected better quality products.
