[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like our new clear glass bowl as I can see the ingredients mix inside the container. The interior measurement markings are very helpful and should come standard with all the bowls. The lid is also a nice plus to have, especially when we have to let the dough rest in the fridge. When it comes to quality, the bowl is nicely made, sturdy and most importantly for me, it was very easy to clean. Overall, I am very satisfied with our new KitchenAid Stand Mixer Clear Glass Bowl and highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kichenaid 5 Quart Tilt-Head GlassBowl is the perfect addition for my Kitchenaid 4.5 Qt mixer. This came with a plastic snap on lid that is perfect for chilling dough in the refrigerator. It's made of thick heavy duty glass with a comfortable handle. The measurements on the side are easy to read. I'm finding I'm liking this glass bowl better then my stainless steel bowl as it is easier to add the proper amount of ingredients with the see through measurements. I'm also better able to make sure everything is mixed properly. It fits securely in place in my mixer without any movement. It's great that this is dishwasher safe for ease of cleaning. Having a second bowl for my mixer is going to be a game changer for my Christmas baking!!

The one thing I love about it most is that I can put it in the dishwasher when done! It did come with a lid that sits on the top of the bowl. While it does not seal, it does the job of keeping it covered. I am really happy with this purchase. I will say, the glass bowl is heavy, so be prepared!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid five quart glass mixing bowl is fantastic. It's large size is perfect for making just about anything. The bowl is not only dishwasher safe for easy cleaning but it is safe to use in the microwave and in the freezer, making it very versatile so I don't have to dirty up several bowls. It comes with a secure lid, and clearly marked measurements making it easy to read, even without my reading glasses! The pour spout makes it easy to pour ingredients exactly as intended and without spilling. This bowl makes my KitchenAid mixer so much simpler to use, and it is by far my favorite and most used accessory! I now can't imagine baking without it because its such a huge time saver!

I absolutely loved this bowl, and had it literally just on 12 months and it cracked all around in the middle of making a Christmas Pav. So devastated. I would still like another one, but it is really disappointing that the bowl isn't durable. Whilst I did think the lid was a great addition, I never actually used it in practise.

I just got this Bowl for Christmas and when going to use i split in two almost cutting my hand open. Must have been chip or crack in it before I used it. So disappointed in the quality. I love my Artesian Mixer. Would not recommend to any one since it is too dangerous. What if glass had chipped into my bread?

Kitchenaid, you are very lucky my daughter had stepped away as I began to make frosting for my cake. I had everything correctly fastened and turned on to mix. The cap for attachments came flying out hitting me and the bowl just exploded, flying at my belly area. Had she been standing there this would of gone off on her face. I am sick over what could of happened if she had not just run off. I have taken great care of this item, as it has been something I have always wanted and enjoyed as I bake for my family. DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE MARKET!! I will be sharing via social media to warn others of the danger. Thankfully only a few cuts not needing attention, not a hospital visit for my daughter

Was beautiful until it wasn’t. I just got this glass bowl for Christmas from my son. I went to put on mixer and it fell in part. Almost sliced my hand open. How does this happen? Very dangerous. Would not recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this glass kitchen aid mixer bowl so much! I have had a kitchenaid mixer for years, but i've had the stainless steel bowl. I love that I can see through this one to make sure that I have gotten everything off of the bottom. It has measurements on the side. I also love that it has a top that I can put on it if I just want to chill my product for a little while or just put it to the side while I work on something else. This bowl makes me so happy!!

A gift for Christmas, I loved my new glass bowl! Fun to make frosting, cookie doughs, icing, etc in! Easy to clean and a great size! Last night I was whipping up heated egg whites and sugar for a Swiss Meringue Buttercream, and the glass bowl shattered into a bunch of pieces! It was secured well, and I was using a kitchen-aid whisk attachment- very bummed!
