What customers are saying

The vegetable sheet cutter attachment is a versatile tool that allows users to easily create thin, uniform slices of various vegetables like zucchini, potatoes, apples, and cucumbers. Customers appreciate how it helps them incorporate more vegetables into their meals in a convenient and creative way, using the sheets as healthy alternatives to pasta, bread, and tortillas. The attachment is reported to work well and be easy to use and clean. While a few users noted some waste due to the blade not cutting all the way to the core, the overall feedback is very positive, with many finding the sheet cutter to be a valuable addition to their kitchen.

BAD design flaw. Not enough yield. DISAPPOINTED!

    Reviewed by - January 17, 2021

I bought this as a holiday present for my husband, he tried using it for the first time tonight and was very disappointed. He used it with an almost 2 inch diameter zucchini and the blade didn't get close enough to the zucchini to yield any good results, and stopped when there was still more than half of the vegetable left, only peeling about half of the peel, not even getting to the good parts of it. This is a major design flaw. There should be a separate "core" attachment when doing fruits or vegetables that have an inedible core; otherwise, you end up having to use a million zucchini's for one lasagna and you have a lot of food waste as well, unless you save what's left for a different recipe. VERY disappointing for the amount of money spent.

    Great Kitchen Aid Veggie Sheets

    Reviewed by - August 15, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy with the veggie sheet cutter for zucchini. Setting up was easier than I thought and it worked quickly. I enjoyed the easy clean up and the box is perfect for storage too. I used the thin slicer and it worked really well. I cooked the zucchini sheets in the microwave with S&P, garlic and butter. Turned out awesome. I need to get the ingredients for a lasagna because I can tell it will be yummy! Glad I got it and sure I’ll use it weekly. I do wish a cookbook and more suggestions we're included. I need to try some other veggies.

    Wow! Very Impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchen Aid never seems to disappoint. This attachment is so much fun and easy to use. This attachment makes for opening a whole new way of recipe ideas. Can slice up wraps for sandwiches, vegetable sushi, decorative garnishing, etc. The kids also love a new way of eating fruits and vegetables, makes it more interesting. Lastly, it is SOOO easy to clean unlike other kitchen gadgets. Again, HIGHLY recommend this great product.

    Great Idea, Poor Materials

    Reviewed by - October 29, 2021

We were very excited to use this attachment and have been very satisfied with several of the other attachments we use, some quite frequently in a professional capacity. Unfortunately this one didn't make past its debut in the kitchen. One of the teeth broke shortly in to its duties, and another after giving it a second chance with fingers crossed. I'm a chef, not an engineer, but I probably should've seen it coming upon unpacking. While this was a very thoughtful gift for home use having me draw up cool applications in my head, I am left disappointed yet hopeful that there will be an affordable (and dependable) vegetable sheeter in the future,

    Get your "Veg" on!

    Reviewed by - May 24, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been eating SOOOO many more veggies since I bought the KitchenAid Vegetable Sheet Cutter. It's only been a week but the journey has only begun and the possibilities are almost endless. We adore wraps but don't want the extra carbs. Enter the lovely long sheets of "veg" that have taken wraps to a whole new level. Even sweet potato, cut and brushed with EVO and thrown on the grill pan for a quick sear/heat/soften makes the best wrap imaginable. Take that burger, a bit of cheese, fresh sweet pea shoots and hummus and wrap it up in the sweet potato wrapper and you'll gladly give up that carb heavy bun! Zoodles (Zucchini noodles) with pesto and toasted walnuts came out perfectly. How about a unique take on breakfast with delicate sheets of Granny Smith apples stuffed with rolled oats, pecans, craisins and honey then baked in the oven and topped with Greek yoghurt? The only difficulty I've had is with butternut squash but I've read many other reviews that suggest this is one of the toughest ones to manage due to the hollow seed-filled core. Despite the challenge, I used just the top solid part of the squash and made an incredible butternut squash lasagne filled with coasrely chopped oyster mushrooms in a mornay sauce and finished with fried sage leaves and fresh Grana Padano...can I honestly say it was more satisfying than my homemade lasagne noodles? Yes! This is a game changer and I'm looking forward to playing and creating countless other beautiful and flavorful recipes with the new attachment.

    Amazing Attachment!

    Reviewed by - August 8, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had a Kitchen Aid mixer on my counter for 17 years and the vegetable sheet cutter attachment took it to the next level!!! I used a YouTube video to set it up for the first time but now it’s quite simple. I can quickly and easily make sheets of cucumber for vegetable “spring rolls”, zucchini for mock noodles to be used in lasagna or stuffed “rigatoni”, or sweet/regular potatoes for the most glorious chips! It is very safe, as your fingers do not get anywhere near the blade when you are cutting the veggies. The only downfall is that it does leave a portion of uncut vegetable on the spinner. For me though, I’ll take that one small downside because the product is so efficient, simple to clean and safe to use! Bring on the veggies!!! I’m now ready to make them all into sheets!

    love it!

i've been using my sheet cutter for lasagna and veggie summer rolls. I haven't yet tried using the thick blade, but the thin blade has proven indispensable. I have seen a lot of comments about the amount of waste due to cutting the veggies down and the core itself. While yes, this can be an issue, when I cut butternut squashes, I wind up just chopping up the leftovers and adding them to my meat sauce. For other fruits and veggies that can be eaten raw (zucchini, cucumbers, apples, etc.), I snack on them while I'm cooking. I'm tempted to purchase the (newly released?) noodle blade, as I don't really want to purchase an entire dedicated appliance for my relatively small kitchen.

    Interesting vegetable slicer attachment

Good idea, but misses the mark

    Reviewed by - November 11, 2017

No longer than 5 inch veggies fit on sheeter, must be straight veggies and they should be very fat for any kind of a nice sheet. The core that is left after the sheet is cut is approximately 1.25 inches in diameter and 5 inches in length - a big chunk of waste (maybe use in salad or stir fry). If your veggie isn’t very straight when you bought it then you won’t get long, nicely formed sheets. They’ll come out in pieces or with gaps or cutouts in them. My best results came with a cucumber, but still too much waste for my liking. All in all, good idea, lack luster results.
