What customers are saying

The Klipsch R-41M bookshelf speakers are praised for their impressive sound quality, with clear, crisp audio and good bass response, making them well-suited for use in home theater or music setups. Reviewers highlight the speakers' ability to perform well at higher volumes without distortion. While some note that adding a subwoofer may further enhance the low-end, the overall consensus is that these are high-quality, versatile speakers that deliver exceptional sound for the price.

    Happy Customer!!

Remodeled the bedroom turning it into a bedroom/den. Purchased a Klipsch Sound Bar 40 with wireless subwoofer for the bedroom and had an old Klipsch HD Theater 300 system I installed in the living room that I have had a great experience with. I snagged up a Harmon Kardon 1610S reciever for the new space and wanted a little more sound for my front speakers and center channel. Got with the folks with Klipsch and they packaged me out with a set of R-41M to replace my old front speakers and an R-34C center channel to replace the center channel. I couldn't be happier. Have had a wonderful experience with tech support, they were very informative and patient working with me on optimizing the settings to get them paired into my system and the sound quality leaves nothing to be desired. Will most likely upgrade my old subwoofer for a little more punch and then I should be good to go. The sound quality is phenomenal, the sounds envelope the room and are so crisp and clear. Highly recommended!!!

    Great speakers, great sale price

    Reviewed by Ryan - January 4, 2022

These are a great upgrade for the front speakers in the surround system of our small living room. They are much sharper sound than the previous pair. They are bigger and didn't quite fit in the previous stand, but we made it work. We also have a Klipsch subwoofer and now I'll be working to complete the whole set because they're 2 for 2 so far. For the sale price, these are a fantastic deal. Even at normal price you wouldn't regret them if you have little or nothing now. FYI: it takes speaker wire directly in the back, not banana plugs. The photos don't make that obvious so I had bought banana plugs I didn't end up needing.

    That Klipsch Sound

    Reviewed by James - February 2, 2019

Reviewing after more than a month with these fantastic little speakers. Typical Klipsch horn sound, nice and forward without being harsh. Excellent imaging and soundstage, especially considering their size and relatively low price. Using as main speakers in my living room with a small 10” sub to reinforce the low end. The sub isn’t entirely needed but can take over where the 4” driver cannot. Running these with a 30+ year old Denon amp, have tried them with newer Pioneer, Yamaha and Marantz. These speakers are detailed enough to point out flaws in your system. Experiment with positioning for optimal soundstage. I own the much larger RF82’s and these compete for sound quality. Although they will not fill larger rooms or hammer out a heavy baseline like its bigger brothers, these are definitely a great investment for a smaller system. Highly recommended.

Big sound in a small package

    Reviewed by - July 22, 2020

I moved into a small condo several months ago and part of my downsizing included finding some smaller speakers for my audio system. After listening to several options, I went with the Klipsch RM-41's and I couldn't be happier with their performance. My RM-41's are paired with a vintage Pioneer SX-750 receiver and a vintage Technics SL-D202 turntable. Despite using various larger speakers over the years, my system has never sounded better. The RM-41's have a beautiful, warm, clean sound and pack plenty of punch in the bass despite their size. In addition, the RM-41's have that classic Klipsch design (they look great with the grills removed) and the build quality is obvious.

    Audiophile!

    Reviewed by - May 27, 2021

These are a pleasure to listen to! I have (2) in ceiling 5.1 channel home theater setups, 2 speakers outside on the balcony, as well as multiple pairs of in-ceiling speakers, all are Klipsch Speakers. They all are so clear and a dream to listen to. These r41m speakers are equally as good compared to my other Much more expensive Klipsch speakers. Highs are so colorful and bright, mids add quality sound to complete what I wanted in bookshelves. A Klipsch 10” sub would be great for an all around package. Bass is ok for a pair of bookshelves. Love the sound these r 41m speakers create! Glad I picked them up!

Great speakers in a small package!

    Reviewed by PeterM - January 14, 2022

I bought these speakers a short time ago to play music in a big, open gym area in our basement. I wanted to keep it simple - just two speakers on stands in two corners of the space. And wow, did these babies deliver! I hooked them up to the receiver the other night and fired them up to test with a few favorite tunes. The audio is rich and full, with beautiful range. Resonant bass, crisp clean mid-range and highs. The sound fills the space. I'm no audiophile, but I am kind of fussy about sound quality. I couldn't be happier with these speakers, especially for the price and the small size.

    Excellent surround/rear channel speakers

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - November 24, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally replaced my ancient, tiny, plastic cabinet surround speakers from a home theater set I bought in 2002. They were beginning to rattle and distort badly. These seemed like a great companion for the fronts which I replaced about a year ago with Klipsch R-50M. These are quite heavy compared to those and I need mine to be right against a corner, so the little screw hole wasn't gonna be an option for me. I bought a set of small tables which hold them beautifully. Sound quality seems excellent. Of course being rear channel speakers, I can't exactly run specific music through them to hear the full range but I'm sure enjoying my 5.1 system again. My center is now a Polk Audio Blackstone something or other. Much as I would have loved to put a Klipsch there, I couldn't see spending more than what I paid for a pair of fronts or surrounds for a center channel. And my old subwoofer still booms smoothly. My only minor complaint about these is that without the front covers, the inside is grey instead of black like my R-50M but I can deal with that. I realize these are a much older model. In fact as I write this, the previous most recent review is 4 years ago.

Love them as Bookshelf Speakers - Not Surrounds

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - November 1, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these to place as front heights. The mounts I had could not hold the weight of the speaker in a specific position, so I moved them up to my desk. Sound production was good as surrounds, but I could not get them positioned to stay, so they had to move to my desk. For L/R mains as computer speakers w/a 10" Klipsch subwoofer, these things work awesome compared to the Klipsch HD500 speakers they replaced. For full sound though you need a subwoofer to augment the LFE and lower end spectrum. Mid'/s and High's are solid with these bookshelf speakers.

Fantastic, full, sound in a small size!

    Reviewed by - April 25, 2021

I bought these as some relatively entry speakers to start building up a speaker system. I was amazed at how full and how great the sound was! I was going to wait a bit before I added a subwoofer and I'm glad I did because these have especially great bass for bookshelf speakers! I don't know if I even need one! So, if you're looking for some starter to early mid-range bookshelf speakers these are a fabulous option.
