Very quiet and efficient at cooling, with little excess heat bleeding off outside. The bottle racks are a bit tightly packed and spacing can't be adjusted, meaning you need to pull the racks out about a third of the way to put in or take out any bottles. Also, the way the door is hinged means you need to open it almost all the way to move the racks in and out, so take into consideration your spacing when you position it.

We bought this four years ago. Worked fine for the first couple of years but all of a sudden it wouldn't cool below 18C. We followed all the manufacturer's guides. The Canadian service centre told me they're not worth fixing because the cost would equal a "blemished" second. He offered 20 per cent off a new model but why bother if it's only going to last a few years? Koolatron R&D needs to work on quality and reliability. At least the service guy was honest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've wanted a wine chiller forever and I'm thrilled with this purchase. Perfect size for me and seems to work well. I do keep the temperature set for red wines so can't say if it can get white wines cold enough. But at least I'm not keeping wine in my pantry anymore where there is zero temperature control. It does make a little noise when the fan turns on, but it doesn't bother me at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This could accept 12 bottles of Reisling, but for standard white wine bottles, a maximum of six since the shelves are too shallow. We were first sent a completely different model, badly damaged. The unit we then received had damaged plastic trim around the front glass. It's cheap, and you certainly get no more than you pay for. Avoid.

This is my 3rd in 16 years. If we get a power surge something burns out so use a surge protector. Our new 12 bottle unit came with wooden shelves. Most bottles of wine would not fit. Call their on line store and they sent me metal shelves. Very happy. Great customer service!

I bought this as a gift for my wife. It is all black with no chrome and much nicer than the picture. I t pulls down to 12C very quickly and I checked it with a thermometer and it's right on. This is a good deal at this price point.

I like the sleek design and it fit perfectly in the space I had in my office, its not QUITE cold enough but that was my own fault for not reading that its coolest temp was only 12 degrees

This work well for a short period of time, and not wont work at all. They wont give money back. Can only return at 30 days, bad return policy. Do not buy

Works good. Keeps wine nice and chilled. Very quiet so far.
