Get ready to rock with Kramer's flagship model, the Pacer! First introduced in 1981, the Pacer is a true icon of the world of rock and was used by some of the best-known names in metal and rock in the 1980s. And now, the Pacer Deluxe GT is here to take things to the next level. This guitar is a tour de force with its sleek body curves, classic beak headstock, and Kramer GT 2-Point Tremolo with push-in arm. The alder body, with forearm and belly comfort carves and neck heel sculpting, makes it exceptionally comfortable to play and easy to access the entire length of the fretboard. The satin-finished, thermally aged maple neck has a walnut skunk stripe on the rear and a Modern Elliptical C profile. The maple fretboard is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets and black dot position markers and has a compound (10"-14") radius for easy chording and choke-free string bends. The truss rod uses a spoke wheel-style adjustment at the body end of the fretboard, making it quick and easy to access, and the 25.5" scale length is great for drop tuning.
The Kramer Pacer Deluxe GT also features the new Kramer KeyLock system. The KeyLock, developed by Senior Product Development Engineer Richard Akers, provides incredible neck stability. Paired with Kramer's five bolt neck-to-body joint, prevents movement in the neck pocket, increasing vibrational tone t prevents movement in the neck pocket, increasing vibrational tone transfer, sustain, and intonation. The Kramer Pacer Deluxe GT is powered by a Kramer USA Golden Classic humbucker in the bridge position and a pair of Kramer USA Triton noiseless pickups. The Kramer USA Triton noiseless neck and middle pickups are an ideal match for the Kramer USA Golden Classic humbucker, and they balance and complement each other beautifully in tone and output.
While this updated version of the Pacer is not a direct reissue, it retains the iconic Kramer DNA with modern touches that will get your heart racing. Like all of Kramer's guitars, it still has plenty of in-your-face, made to rock hard attitude and all of the features that modern guitarists demand. A premium gig bag is also included.
