This thing really look great out of the box, BUT starting using it in a corporate environment with verry standard usage, I QUICKLY realise that is should had stays... In the box. First thing first, we use X270 laptops and just cliping the device on these bases whitout any king of guidance track return in brand new laptop with all scratched lower panel after a week. The next thing is a LOT more problematic, since the UltraDock release system is built such a way that its obtructing almost 80% of the machine thermal fan exit when docked. The laptop temperature increase rapidly and the fans start running at high speed to compensate this issue, generating a verry noisy working space and wearing out the system components on the long run for nothing. Honestly, this thing is an overpriced laptop charger and I would'nt recomend it.

If you have the expanded battery (the one that projects below the laptop) then the laptop will be too thick to connect. Despite the picture showing a recess for the extra battery dimension, it is still insufficient to dock. All 1 Star because the dock is not compatible with the laptop it was designed to hold.

Although it looks good one but i feel bad that there is no way to find out while ordering which one is good for which laptop or so. I wanted dock to go with my new T 480s Ultrabook - Black laptop but after getting it, i found out that it can not be used with that and i am stuck with it now.

The dock is very straightforward and easy to use. It meets all of my (rather simple) needs. All of the peripherals link into the dock very well. I have no problems whatsoever.

How come the power box (where the power button is) is in the way of the radiator ? On my Lenovo T440p, this docking is stopping one of the radiators to fully "breathe".

Great deal with the purchase of the laptop. The dock makes it very simple to connect to larger monitors

For the price, it's a must. never unplug all the cords again! easy to use.
