What customers are saying

The Folio Touch Keyboard Case provides a responsive, comfortable keyboard with backlit keys and a smooth, precise trackpad. It offers robust protection while maintaining a slim, lightweight design, and the integrated kickstand allows for multiple viewing angles. The keyboard is powered directly by the iPad, eliminating the need for separate charging. While some users noted minor issues like occasional trackpad glitches or a slightly cramped keyboard, the overall consensus is that this is an excellent and affordable alternative to more expensive options.

Excellent case and good keyboard but not that good

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - December 17, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is a confusing product…. Is really good in the protection of all corners and the screen when is close the keyboard, but when you used standing with the keyboard face down the case don’t recognize that position and the keyboard and trackpad still working and typing accidentally…but when you return to position to used the keyboard now you can’t be typing the keyboard because now not recognize the entire case and you go to the app and show up it’s connected but actually you can’t use the full functions of the keyboard …. Soo you need takeout the iPad and pull back again to recognize the keyboard and other problem is no always recognize the keyboard the first time…. Soo i expect the fix in a update or something like that.

Folio keyboard is powered from the iPad Air

    Reviewed by - November 11, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never need to change the batteries. The three (3) little gold pads on the back of the iPad powers the folio keyboard and touch pad. Provides soft glow when working in dark rooms. The keys provide great tactile feedback; are easy to type on and feel natural. All the standard IOS shortcuts you'd expect. The track pad worked equally well with mi iPad AIR 4. You must get the right version folio case for your version of iPad as their power connectors are in different places. Logitech did a good job working with apple on having this on the market the same time if not sooner than the AIr 4's launch. Holds the iPencil in the slit on the top clasp which has a magnetic catch. Open on the top for the Air's finger print button on the top left, camera on the back and all needed openings, even the magnetic i pencil 2 charging location.

Great typing cover, wished keyboard detached

    Reviewed by - November 7, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Logitech normally creates great keyboard folio covers for the iPad line. I enjoy the keyboard folio for the 3rd generation iPad Air and was looking forward to the new 4th generation. I was disappointed with the new 4th generation folio keyboard cover. Although nearly identical in all on aspects, the iPad Air 4 has a big drawbacks. Pros: -Sleek design. It is very similar to the 3rd generation iPad Air. It’s slim enough, nice gray fabric which gives the minimalistic appearance. The kickstand, very surface-look, is a nice touch. -Easy Connection. Once you have the iPad installed, the keyboard is already able to be connected as the connector pogos are in the bottom back of the iPad and automatically connects. -Apple Pencil Slot. The magnetic flap that holds the cover closed has a slot for the Apple Pencil if you don’t want to charge it. If you choose to attach it to the iPad Air’s side for charging, the flap will hold it in place. -Keyboard/Trackpad: the trackpad is very responsive, and the keyboard travel is great. It’s also backlit so you can type at night with low light. Cons -undetachable keyboard cover. This is my main problem with this folio cover because unlike the previous model, the keyboard does not detach. When using it in reader mode, it adds so much weight that it can be uncomfortable. It works if you wanted to flip it over in Sketch mode, but isn’t that what the Kickstand is for? Overall, this could’ve been better. It looks nice, good trackpad and keyboard responsive, but the cover should’ve been able to detach.

Folio Touch finally iPad is LAPTOP REPLACEMENT !!

    Reviewed by - November 18, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a die-hard Apple fanboy, having waited in line and procured a pair of iPad 1 launch day 2010, I’ve always viewed the device as more of a powerful PDA, than a full-fledged laptop replacement as previously billed. I’ve demo’ed previous add-on keyboards from various mfgs, but not until this Logitech Folio Touch came along did it feel like this iPad Pro feel like a true laptop replacement. Other models had been very close, but lacked the touchpad that any and all MacBook Pro users can appreciate. This model having a touchpad is an excllent facsimile, though not 100% perfect. For e.g. this touchpad is unclickable on the top 10% of so, in case you’re an index finger clicker. The trackpad middle section to bottom works beautifully. It’s really not much more than a minor muscle memory adjustment to swtich back-and-forth between iPad with Smart Folio, and full-blown MacBook Pro w/ integrated touchpad. I tested nearly every gesture i can think of, two finger and three finger page/app swipes, <CMD>+<TAB> to switch between open tasks, Single swipe up and down for deliberate function. Three-finger swipe up for App Manager. Everything just makes this feel like the first time I’m using a MacBook Air/Pro trackpad. To make an great product even more excellent, the dedicated row of iPadOS shortcuts (home, brightness, on-screen keyboard, search, media play controls, volume adjustments, and lock) Additionally the Apple Pencil / Logitech Crayon holder is a nice touch. Previous products stay attached to my iPad for a few days to weeks, but this i feel is here to stay. PROS ———- + perfect fit with iPad Pro 11-inch and iPad Air (4th gen) + multi-touch gesture control (swipe, pinch, scroll, etc) + backlight optimized for battery usage, configurable brightness + reduced-travel keys feel better than expected + reassuring and response typing key click + built-in kick stand with 40 degree angle + Smart Connector eliminates pairing pains + Corner protectors to save your iPad if it falls + Never charge battery technology (as needed from iPad) CONS ———- -minimal travel, closer to block of wood than scissor travel -backlit keys are great in low-light, but not quite super bright -volume up/down require hard presses, indentations lacking -touch pad thumb click, but not finger click (top half is locked) -limited screen angles and visual positioning -adds weight if you’re used to bare iPad CONCLUSION ———————— Despite my nit picky cons, the weight of the pros far outweigh anything we’ve had in the market. I can proudly proclaim that this Logitech Folio Touch finally makes the iPad a true laptop alternative, and recommend a definite BUY.

Converts Ipad Air to a Laptop

    Reviewed by - December 7, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SUMMARY ————— Logitech makes durable products and this case is no different. They fit perfectly and snugly, The case is very well made and it also has a track pad. My prior Ipad case did not have one. This case is for the ipad air 4th Generation and it almost converts the iPad air into a mini laptop. with a beautiful backlit keyboard the case never requires charging as the rechargeable batteries are built in the case and the case draws power and charges it directly from the ipad air. I dont think the case is bulky and it can help you replace your laptop, i recommend this product. DETAILS ———— What’s in the box ————————— 1. Logitech Folio Touch Keyboard Case for iPad Air 10.9" (4th Generation 2020) 2. Owners Manual Pros —— Excellent backlit keyboard and mouse in one. Protects your iPad Air (gen 4) Replaces your laptop (when using with the Ipad) Durable Adaptive Backlit Keyboard Also holds your Pencil Cons —— None yet. Design & setup ———————— Setup is easy and straight forward, take the case off the box. The Ipad Air 4th Gen will snap right in and you are all set. You can start using the ipad right away. This uses bluetooth connection and connects to the ipad air instantly. Usage ——— This thing actually converts your ipad air into a laptop, The backlit on the keyboard is beautiful and adaptive. The keyboard has a good Ipad macbook type of feel to it and it is very silent. The keys are well laid out and i dont think i miss anything out of my Macbook air here… I also had a prior version of the Ipad keyboard case wherein there was no trackpad. Adding this track pad was a good one. The trackpad is very precise and useful. The trackpad also supports swipe , pinch and scroll unlike a regular trackpad. The keyboard also has a well laid out iPadOs shortcut keys. Like the prior version of the ipad case, it also has a pocket to hold 2nd generation apple or logitech pencil. I found the case to be durable and can withstand a few falls and the ipad air wont pop out, I can say this by experience. Overall no one makes a great fitting keyboard case for Ipad air like Logitech and for the price you should avoid all imitation products from other retailers and buy this authentic logitech ipad case. You wont be disappointed.

    Starts out great

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - August 10, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I loved this case. It worked really well. It does close easily if it isn’t on a flat surface so it is a little difficult when working on your lap but I adjusted. Recently it stopped working out of nowhere. I have updated everything and tried deleting and re-adding the app. It has stretched out around the edges so it isn’t as sturdy with keeping the iPad secure. It’s a bit heavy as well. I feel like I paid way too much for it to stop working so soon

    Must-Have keyboard case!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - December 14, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are on a budget and in need of a keyboard case, then this is definitely the product for you. Clean design, comfortable keypads, well functioning touch pad, and overall the best for school/work.(all keyboard shortcuts work also) The magnet is very strong and will not open when force is enabled. Stand is also very strong and does not slide down. Definitely the better & cheaper alternative.

    My favorite keyboard attachment!!!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - March 12, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best one out there! It literally feels like you have a laptop but it’s just a tablet. I love that my pen is still able to charge when now in use and the power button is open so it can detect your finger touch print. ANDDDD it’s not super bulky the magnets are super strong which I really like because it doesn’t open too easy.
