[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mouse that came with my HP desktop wireless keyboard/mouse combo gave up the ghost so I went on a quest to find a decent replacement. I had been very happy for 6 years with the existing mouse, little did I know mouse technology has changed so much. The only adjustment I've had to make is with the shape since my previous mouse was a very flat design. Other than that this mouse possesses an extremely speedy response time which I'm very impressed with. The Hyper-Fast Scrolling feature is alone with the price of admission. Haven't even tried customizing the various buttons yet, when I have time I'll delve into that. For now I'm really enjoying this mouse. I hope it lasts as long as the last one did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace a very old wired Microsoft mouse. I needed a mouse that would work with my desktop and laptop, was comfortable to use and configurable, as well as being reasonably priced. The Logitech M705 Marathon mouse seemed to be the best option for me and I got it at a great price. I have been using it for about 4 weeks now. It works well, meets my expectations, works as advertised, and appears to be well made. With the Logitech Options+ software (an optional download), you can easily and quickly setup and configure the mouse as well as update the firmware in the mouse and the USB Unifying receiver (included). The mouse itself, is a good size for my hands. I like a full-sized mouse with some weight, because it gives me greater control over the movements. The scroll wheel is very smooth and the mouse buttons are easy to use and silent. However, the Forward/Back mouse buttons on the left side, did take some getting used to. Those buttons don't stick out as far and are in a slightly different place than my old mouse. So, I had a harder time finding the right spot without looking. Also, the Forward button seems to be smaller and hard to press. The sensitivity isn't adjustable and is fixed at 1,000 dpi. Overall, I would give this 4.5 stars, with the only downside being the mouse buttons. I especially like that the Logitech M705 has a 3-year warranty. For the price, I feel this is a very good value and I would certainly recommend this mouse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know all the intricacies of mouse usage. If you are like me and just want to know if it works well, IT DOES. I always forget to switch it off because I am not on this computer often, but the batteries have not yet run out, so yay. It moves smoothly on my mousepad. The scroll wheel works as it should. It conforms nicely to my hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A comfortable responsive mouse and the buttons work. The scroll wheel is fantastic in hyper-fast mode, you can make quick work of a long list by giving it a good flick with your finger and letting it spin for several seconds. The only complaint that I have, and for me it is not that big of a problem, is that while the scroll wheel is in free mode if you lift up on the mouse it tilts back or forward then it will cause the program you are using to occasionally scroll up or down or a little of both so you may need to get into the habit of switching it back to precision mode. Just a minor problem. Over all I have been very happy with this mouse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this mouse for use at work after my old wireless one started freaking out. This was pretty easy to setup and get going. It's really comfortable and I have wrist issues so that matters. Battery life has been fantastic on month 12 of daily use and haven't replaced it yet. I really like having the forward/back button and the additional "squeeze" button on the thumb. Only reason I am docking a star is because when you switch from between having the incremental/click on the scroll wheel versus to smooth scroll it get's too easy. I like to have free scroll on most mouses but this one is too fluid and makes it hard to avoid over scrolling.

I've had this mouse at my office for several years, but it didn't get much use the past two years while I was working mostly from home. Upon return to the office full-time, I was quickly reminded of how annoying it was that my screen constantly scrolls down "on its own" due to the extremely sensitive/loose scroll wheel in this mouse. As I'm scrolling through a document, I have to be EXTREMELY careful to lift my hand off of the mouse. It doesn't appear any change to the sensitivity settings helps, because the problem is that the wheel itself is just too loose. Otherwise, it's been a great mouse. Too bad the lousy scroll wheel is a deal breaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy this mouse is to use and how comfortable it is. I had one at work and decided to get the same one for my laptop at home as well. I like that the size of this mouse is a little smaller than some of the more expensive ones so it travels well, but it's not as small as a laptop mouse and has more features. I really like being able to switch the scroll wheel between clicking or rolling freely by touching the top button. I do wish they had the thumb scroll wheel on this mouse like they have on one of their more expensive ones for zooming, but that is pretty minor. Overall, this mouse is comfortable, easy to customize, and durable.
