  • Great gaming laptop
    by Fahrenheit451

    on July 11, 2019

One problem I've had with other computer products is the overheating, which ages the laptop quickly. This laptop had good fan coverage and does not have that potential problem. All things being equal, I would buy this laptop again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

  • Good, but breaks too often

I have gone through two of these controllers in five years. When it works, it works wonderfully. However there are several issues that can cause the controller to break. First one had one of the shoulder buttons jam in the pressed position. Even after disassembling the device I could not get the button to unstick which made the controller practically useless. Second one had the X button shaking loosely in its socket and couldn't be pressed. Taking it apart I found that the buttons have a rubber piece that holds the contact over the circuit board that acts as a spring. The rubber had disintegrated and the piece with the contact had completely separated. The only spare parts available from Logitech were battery doors and wireless dongles so repairs were out of the option. Overall it's a good controller, but it doesn't hold up to excessive use very well.

I'm looking at mine right now Despite installing different drivers in order for this thing to work, it still doesn't remember paying full pop for it way back when this thing just sits there collecting dust surrounded by other garbage
