- Logitech Z150 - Great if you are not a bass junkie- January 18, 2015
[...] Exchanged them for these Logitech Z150s priced at less than half the cost and am thrilled with the sound. Sure, thy are lighter, cheaper, and probably won't last too long, but [...] they deliver a clear, crisp sound, perfect for normal and low level listening. Especially good for dialog - movies, games etc - which were just overpowered and muddied on the T10's. I really like the Z150's, I just hope they last because they are rather flimsy and the exposed soft plastic driver with no screen over it is just asking for an accident to happen. [...] I'd just replace them with another set if that happens anytime soon! I love these little speakers.

- Solid pair of budget desktop speakers- May 7, 2019
My old set of 2.1 speakers that I'd had for 15 years finally gave out, and since I have gone more minimalist with basically everything else in my apartment lately, I wanted to get a simple pair of stereo speakers. I have room mates and not the thickest walls, so I wanted decent volume but not booming, I also am a heavy metal fan so I wanted speakers that wouldn't deprive me of any joy of my favourite music. Amazingly, these speakers do well in both. I'm usually happily served with these speakers at 60-75% volume for when I'm just walking around cleaning or getting ready to go out, and that leaves room for if I still want to "crank" them (if I know my room mates aren't home). I tested out several different metal tracks with deep bass the day I set the speakers up, and I was very pleased with the result. Like I said, I don't feel like I'm missing a whole lot. They're obviously not top of the line but I'm also not an audio snob. They're plenty good enough (and I've heard MUCH worse cheap speakers) I would say that my only knock on these speakers thus far is that if you plug headphones into the front port (haven't tested the aux), you get one uniform volume, the knob doesn't control it. Meaning if you need to adjust the volume with headphones plugged in, you have to do that through your computer (either through the global volume control, or the individual program, like if you were using VLC for example). Another tiny complaint - the braille type nub on the volume knob (to indicate the level as you turn it) is tiny and black like the rest of the speaker face, so you can't easily see it (and I turn the knob by grabbing around the edges, not holding the front). Easy solution - I just took a white wax pencil and marked the little nub so I can see where it is but I wish it was more distinct on its own. In conclusion, for the price, these are a solid pair of "cheap" speakers. Good for watching YouTube, Netflix, listening to music, or doing video chats/gaming. I might even buy a second pair. I have no idea what to expect for longevity but I'd like to have these speakers for many years hopefully.

- Good, But Low Volume Sound.- November 3, 2020
For what I need, these speakers fit the bill. I'm in college right now, and these speakers are great for listening to music while I work, and they have relatively good surround sound. But, given the size, they obviously don't have much base and are a bit too quiet to rely on filling a room with sound. But if you're sitting right in front of them, they're great. Clear sound, and a good price. If you're looking for a relatively bigger sound, with some base, I would suggest picking up the Logitech Z213 Compact 2.1 Wired Speaker System. It's ten dollars more, and it comes with a little subwoofer. Cheers.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
