When my ten year old washer broke,we replaced them with a top-loading washer from GE. It didn't do a good job and left residue on the clothes,so we returned it and got this washer and dryer instead. They are excellent. Should have got them from the beginning. The washer cleans so well and has plenty of options for the different things I wash. It is also plenty big enough to fit towels,bedding,and whatever else you need. The dryer is more of the same. It always does a great job and has lots of settings for the different types of clothes or items that we dry. Steam drying is a nice touch as it really keeps the wrinkles at bay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Samsung Dryer heating element needed replacement twice within 2 yrs. I purchased my Maytag a little over a month ago. The affordability was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in such a quick fix. This was the right decision for my home. Sleek touchscreen, advanced damp sensors that allows you to select your dry time with the minimum energy used. The steam option is a bonus feature adding the icing yonthe cake when pulling out the ironing board is simply not your desire. Maytag is appliance supplier that knocked this dryer with an abundance of features to meet your household needs. I would definitely suggest this dryer as one to get your laundry needs done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the washer and dryer set, liked the capacity features (4.3 for the dryer, 4.8 for the washer) Bought the pedestals also, the pedestal for the dryer fit perfectly under the dryer But the pedestal for the washer didn’t fit the full depth of the washer Should this be a concern, this washer is the 4.8 Like the interchangeable door on the dryer, open left to right or right to left Is the washer available in open left to right, because my setup has my washer on the right That’s where my faucets are, but it opens right to left In order for me to open the appliance doors away from each other, I’m going to have flip the appliances That means longer water hose and longer lint duct hose

Metallic Slate Stackable Front Load Washing Machine and matching dryer. Although I would have liked a light, the new dryer didn’t have one. I highly recommend Maytag products. Long lasting and easy to operate. I did purchase the pedestals for both.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were upgrading our washer and dryer and bought the Maytag - Front Load dryer with a pedestal to go with our matching washer. Besides the reputation of Maytag and good internet reviews such as very efficient and quite, it was the features that sold me. The reversible door allowed it open the other way and the position of the controls are the little things that makes a big difference. Our old dryer always had stuff on top making it difficult to reach around to the controls and the door open in a way that we would have to go around the door to just transfer the clothes from washer and dry. This dry with the pedestal was the answer. I now realize how difficult laundry was and that it did not have to be. Thanks Maytag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to get a new washer and dryer as our old ones were not doing the job after only 10 years, nothing was really clean and took for ever to dry, we had Maytag before but to save money, bought a different brand, big mistake. We looked at all the different brands and keep coming back to look at the Maytag Frontload Washer and Dryer that we finally bought (they were the last ones in the area that were in stock), we now can dry larger loads in a shorter time, have more choices as to the settings and love the "Steam" function along with the delay, still have a lot to learn about using everything and we will never buy another brand again

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have had Maytag Dryer model #6630HC for one year now, so I feel it's ready for a fair review. Positives: It is a very large capacity 7.3cu ft, and it dries full loads no matter what size very quickly. I like the steam option, and will use that for cotton loads which help remove wrinkles and add freshness to the finished load. The sensor load option is what I use 90% of the time and it dries loads to accuracy being fully dry in a short period of time. I have seen others post that it doesn't dry the full load, but I can attest that it does dry 100% of the time for me/Users/joanne/Downloads/IMG_2117.HEIC ! Among many other positives, my washer/dryer set just look great!! Negatives: I do not like having to hold down the start button, which does a 3 second countdown. Even though 3 seconds may not seem long, it certainly is during your repetitive daily tasks. I wish that could be turned off. The finished bell sound has 3 levels of tone, they are too low, and I cannot hear my dryer bell even on level 3... For this reason, I wish it was wifi capable so I could be reminded when a load was finished on my phone. Overall: Good quality Maytag product (my last dryer was a Maytag Neptune set and is 20+ years old and still going strong for the new home owners). Thank you Maytag for continuing to make a good quality machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased front loading Maytag washer and dryer and chose the Commercial Technology models. Absolutely love using these, but noticed a problem with clothes not being quite dry at the end of the cycle. We called a dryer vent cleaner, thinking we had a build up of lint in the dryer vent line. After the technician checked, we were told that we had flexible vent from the dryer to outside that was not fire safe or to code. We scheduled an appointment to have this replaced. No matter how wonderful your Maytag appliances are, be sure you have the vent safety checked to insure safe operation and avoid tragedy!
