What customers are saying

The manual breast pump features a comfortable oval-shaped flange with a soft silicone rim and a dual-phase expression handle for efficient milk expression. Users report getting good output, often comparable to electric pumps, in a relatively short time. It is a reliable and portable option, ideal for occasional pumping, relieving engorgement, or quick sessions when an electric pump is not practical, though it may not be as effective for regular, frequent use.

    Quick and Easy to Use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this hand pump! I don’t pump very often, because I’m home 24/7 with my kiddos and I just feed on demand. But sometimes I want (or need) to pump, and the Medela Harmony is SO much easier and quicker to use than my double electric pump. This is the pump I always reach for first - it’s super easy to clean because it only has a few parts. I use the Medela pump soap (which is AMAZING), and can wash everything your quickly and easily. Right out of the box, this pump was comfortable to use and effective. I get just as much milk using this hand pump than I do with my double electric. I have 4 kids ages 5 and under, so I don’t really have time to set up and be connected to an electric pump. With the Medela Harmony, I can start and stop quickly and easily, and it’s so easy to use that I can fit occasional pumping into my super busy days. Thanks so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this pump to try!

Great if you need a strong suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump is an easy to put together, manual breast pump for breast-feeding individuals. Medela has always been a valuable brand at a low cost. This pump is safe to use and very hygienic, easy to clean. I did not get much of a yield of breastmilk due to the intensity upon pumping. It actually hurt me a little bit. I am very sensitive, and attempted to pump a little bit more lightly, but the pain persisted. So, if you are a breast-feeding, mom, just be aware that this might be a little bit too intense. I attempted to do any and everything to make it feel more light, but unfortunately, I was unable to. I’m still very glad to have this on hand, but I don’t see myself using it on a regular basis due to the discomfort.

    Just okay for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about this specific hand pump! it def has some pros and cons! The pros are the two diff types if suction- seen on the handle itself in the image. that is a nice feature to help stimulate and also to actually pump. the cons are where i started to take away stars. it does not always allow for the best output. i also hate that it only came with one flange size- 24mm. it’s HUGE for me and i dont want to have to purchase other parts for a brand new product. i would’ve liked it a lot more if the bottle itself was not plastic! overall its a good thing to have on hand

    Great for on the go

    Reviewed by - October 10, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter often only nurses one side so I need an easy quick way to pump the other side. This medela pump made that possible. I’ve been able to pump the opposite while she nurses during the night, pumped at the zoo On-the-go while she napped & today pumped at big brother’s soccer game. This pump does a great job of getting the milk out - fast & effective! I worried my hand would hurt but it does not. Handle is pretty ergonomic unless you have to pump a long time. The bottle does tip easily which is a con, but the included base holder helps it stabilize. I use this most in my car and the bottle sits well in my cup holder. Very easy to clean and small enough to stash in diaper bag. I really liked the comfort fit flange on this pump. It’s comfy edge is way better than the normal plastic edge. It did not press into my breast as much while pumping. I definitely recommend this to other pumping on the go mamas. I exclusively breast feed and this is nice option to get milk out without having to use an electric pump. Thanks to Stellar Review Panel for providing me the opportunity to test this product.

Solid product. The pros outweigh the cons.

    Reviewed by - October 8, 2020

I received this breast pump to review through the Stellar Panel. It is definitely convenient for on-the-go, or even at home as a backup option when you are sterilizing the parts for your main pump or just want to be untethered. It is fairly easy to set up, even though it has several parts. Clean up is so-so... not a huge pain, but fewer pieces to handle would be nice. My main gripe is that milk sometimes seeps out of the bottom of the flange, even with this new oval-shaped design. However, that's an easy pill to swallow given the pump is so effective at expressing the entire contents of both breasts. I'd give this pump a B+ overall. Solid, well-made product for nursing moms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump and it has been really helpful for quick and easy pumping sessions. I like how lightweight and compact it is, so I can easily carry it in my diaper bag or use it when I’m on the go. The manual handle is comfortable and easy to press, and I like that i can control the suction myself to make pumping more comfortable. It also very quiet since there’s no motor, which is perfect when I don’t want to disturb my baby. The parts are simple and easy to clean, which make my routine much easier as a busy mom. Overall, this pump is a great option for occasional pumping or when I need something simple and convenient. It’s small effective, and very practical to have as a backup pump. Manual pump like this are popular because they’re portable, quiet and don’t require batteries or electricity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this brand, the product is very good and it is easy to use in my opinion I like that it has the flexible part of the cup since I had one that was not like that and the milk was watered somewhere, this milk pump is very good to use on a day where you go on a trip or go out to eat, because it is very practical and you can carry it in your bag 👜. The size of the bottle is normal and it has a lot of milk 🍼

If you are looking for something simple and silent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for something simple and silent, this is it. The 2-Phase Expression technology (using the short end of the handle first to mimic baby’s let-down) works brilliantly. It’s small, efficient, and easy to assemble. Medela products never disappoint, and this is a must-have for the breastfeeding journey. The set includes 6 pieces with it.
