Quick and Easy to Use!
- October 11, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this hand pump! I don’t pump very often, because I’m home 24/7 with my kiddos and I just feed on demand. But sometimes I want (or need) to pump, and the Medela Harmony is SO much easier and quicker to use than my double electric pump. This is the pump I always reach for first - it’s super easy to clean because it only has a few parts. I use the Medela pump soap (which is AMAZING), and can wash everything your quickly and easily. Right out of the box, this pump was comfortable to use and effective. I get just as much milk using this hand pump than I do with my double electric. I have 4 kids ages 5 and under, so I don’t really have time to set up and be connected to an electric pump. With the Medela Harmony, I can start and stop quickly and easily, and it’s so easy to use that I can fit occasional pumping into my super busy days. Thanks so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this pump to try!

Great for on the go
- October 10, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter often only nurses one side so I need an easy quick way to pump the other side. This medela pump made that possible. I’ve been able to pump the opposite while she nurses during the night, pumped at the zoo On-the-go while she napped & today pumped at big brother’s soccer game. This pump does a great job of getting the milk out - fast & effective! I worried my hand would hurt but it does not. Handle is pretty ergonomic unless you have to pump a long time. The bottle does tip easily which is a con, but the included base holder helps it stabilize. I use this most in my car and the bottle sits well in my cup holder. Very easy to clean and small enough to stash in diaper bag. I really liked the comfort fit flange on this pump. It’s comfy edge is way better than the normal plastic edge. It did not press into my breast as much while pumping. I definitely recommend this to other pumping on the go mamas. I exclusively breast feed and this is nice option to get milk out without having to use an electric pump. Thanks to Stellar Review Panel for providing me the opportunity to test this product.

Solid product. The pros outweigh the cons.
- October 8, 2020I received this breast pump to review through the Stellar Panel. It is definitely convenient for on-the-go, or even at home as a backup option when you are sterilizing the parts for your main pump or just want to be untethered. It is fairly easy to set up, even though it has several parts. Clean up is so-so... not a huge pain, but fewer pieces to handle would be nice. My main gripe is that milk sometimes seeps out of the bottom of the flange, even with this new oval-shaped design. However, that's an easy pill to swallow given the pump is so effective at expressing the entire contents of both breasts. I'd give this pump a B+ overall. Solid, well-made product for nursing moms.

Perfect manual pump
- October 11, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This manual pump is a life saver y’all! I have 5 kids so convenience is KEY. It’s so light, super portable, easy to take in the car because it doesn’t need electricity. It easily fits into a gallon bag to pop in the baby bag and go. And the little stand that comes with it holds it so snuggly it doesn’t tip over like the manual pump I had years ago. I can balance this ON MY COUCH CUSHION. Unheard of! A giant thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this manual breast pump. It’s made nursing/weaning my 10 month old a bit easier.

Simple and perfectly compatible
- October 10, 2020I got this Medela Harmony Hand Pump just in time for our first night away from the baby. I was a little nervous about how pumping would be without my little one nearby and I was worried about not producing even close to the amount that she needs. I grabbed this manual pump because we were planning on being out and about for a majority of our time away and I wanted something small and simple to use while out. It may not be the smallest manual pump, but I really love how almost every piece can also be used with my Medela electric pump! I was also surprised at how well it worked. The breast shield was super comfy, I feel like most breast shields pinch and sometimes hurt the breast tissue, but this manual pump is different because the outer ring of the shield (the PersonalFit Flex) is actually really flexible and made pumping much more comfortable. I also love how this pump can be used to quickly express and then slow down, which of course I can control and mimic how my baby actually nurses. That feature really helped me express more than I usually do with an electric pump or other manual pumps. I love this one and will be taking it with me on any trip I have away from my baby. I received this manual pump as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I will be buying more of these great flexible breast shields, so that I can use this more often!

Good...for a manual pump
- December 14, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Harmony Manual Breast Pump is a good option if you don't have extra money to throw away on a good battery powered breast pump that you don't need to plug in. Positives: It's small, light and easy to pack for traveling and it empties the milk from my breasts well. It also has a handle to rotates so that you can start out with a quick short pump and then rotate the handle to change to a stronger and longer pump to imitate how a baby sucks, which is very effective and not hard to change. Negatives: it's manual, so your hand can get tired of pumping until you get used to it, it's not super easy to wash, but if it's cleaned right away it's not too bad. Overall, it's a great manual pump. *this product was received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Small, Simple, and Effective
- December 11, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been an electric breast pumping mama, because I was under the impression that electric breast pumps would give me the most bang for my buck (express the most milk in the shortest amount of time). When Stellar Product Testing Panel gave me the opportunity to try Medela’s manual Harmony Breast Pump, I decided to give it a try. At first blush I was turned off by the number of parts and small size of each part (see photo). There are six parts to the pump and a stand to hold the bottle and prevent spills. My first thought was that they would be very tedious to clean. But after the first wash, sanitize, and assembly I had the hang of it and found that using my bottle brush with sponge on the end washed each piece wonderfully and I would not need a special cleaning tool. Be careful to mind the small circular piece, which serves as a flap for suction when collecting milk into the bottle! The pump comes with extras in anticipation of that piece getting lost or falling down the drain. I read the instructions before my first assembly but found it to be quite simple and intuitive. I have to say that when I first used this pump I was amazed at how well I was able to express milk. The stimulation side of the pump allows for quick bursts of suction to simulate the initial sucking of your baby. When milk appears the longer handle of the pump allows for longer and deeper suction to express milk once you have let down. After 6 minutes I had pumped 3 ounces, which was faster than my current electric pumps. There went my preconceived notion about manual pumps, and then I was sold! I found the design of the pump and handle made pumping very easy and comfortable and that the suction was very effective without being too rough on my nipples. This was something I thought I just had to live with while pumping. Harmony Breast Pump proved to me that this did not have to be the case. I used this pump occasionally, in instances when my electric pump needed to charge or I forgot a part of my electric pump. The Harmony Breast Pump was my backup pump and it never disappointed. I could fit all of the parts in a ziplock bag that easily fit in my purse and did not require an extra travel bag. I found the set up and clean up only took a few minutes on either end of pumping and was not a tedious endeavor and made my pumping sessions shorter. I am thankful to Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to test the Harmony Breast Pump; the experience changed my perceptions of manual pumps and equipped me with a trusted backup pumping method that made life easier.

Great for travel
- October 11, 2020This pump is a great option for travelling. It is small and lightweight but has great suction so it works well. Once I ensured all the pieces were together properly if worked even better than I anticipated and very efficient for its size. It is easy to use and with it being so lightweight very comfortable to hold. Setup is just snapping pieces together. Very simple and cleaning is super easy too, no complaints here! Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing the opportunity for me to test it!

Great manual pump
- October 10, 2020The Medela Harmony Manual Pump is an excellent manual pump. It’s super easy to assemble, take apart, and clean. Fully put together, it’s not as simple to pack in a diaper bag, but as mentioned, it’s easy to take apart and put together, which in turn makes it easier to take on the go. I have taken it with me to so many places where an electric pump was not appropriate or a reasonable option. The two stage pump lever is extremely helpful. It’s more like an electric pump that allows you to control the speed and suction, I was fortunate enough to have this product provided to me to try by the Stellar Product Testing Panel

Great little pump when you are on the go!
- December 17, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The harmony breast pump is very simple and easy to use. It’s very portable so when you are on the run, it’s easy to stick in the diaper bag and go! Love that I don’t need to plug in and can use it everywhere, especially when you need to relieve or pump on the go. It’s super easy to clean and compact, not very many parts to worry about. I also like that I can control the speed at which I pump. My only complaint is that I wish I could do both sides at once but I needed two hands to do each side. Otherwise it’s a simple easy pump to use that’s great to take when you are on the go! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this manual breast pump.
