Petri is a product of the marketing industry, an ideal consumer with an apartment filled with all kinds of stuff. Dumped by his girlfriend, burdened by a huge mortgage, scarred by a maxed out credit card, and haunted by the stuff that failed to bring him happiness, Petri is in the middle of an existential crisis. Arguably encouraged by his grandmother, Petri gets the crazy idea to take all his stuff into a storage (including all clothing). The rule of the one-year experiment is that he can take only one item per day. A daunting task, and on top of that Petri will film himself doing it. In January Petri runs naked through an arctic Helsinki night to get his first item from the storage. It is a long winter coat, and he tries to sleep on his floor wrapped in it. Fever, loneliness, austerity and a lack of food are just the beginning in Petri's one-year challenge.
