Each house-shaped case is handmade from tin and glass with clean black framing, sized 10.8 x 10.8 x 12.5 cm: roomy enough for a moss landscape with a succulent or two, small enough for a windowsill, shelf, desk, or wedding table. The roof panel is a hinged lid, so planting, misting, and rearranging never mean dismantling the scene. Because the seams are not watertight, treat it as a dry garden: a layer of small stones at the base, plants misted by spray bottle rather than poured water. Buy the pair and the scenes can converse — one mossy, one stony; one at home, one at the office.
