[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Nextbase 422GW (GPS & Wifi) dash cam and decided to try the Rear Racing Camera Attachment since i like the front facing camera so much. the Rear facing camera is a super sleek and easy way to get a front and back, 2 channel view of your car's surroundings. this brilliant little attachment clicks into the side of the main camera and uses the main camera's CPU to duel film the rear view of the car while in sync with the front. No extra wires, no expensive additional camera or power source for the rear. just plug and play with superb image quality the main camera feeds all the telemetry, GPS, etc into the front facing camera's clips, while the rear does its thing. i guess the most brilliant part is the way the telescopic lens shoots out the back window, just like your rear view mirror would function. This POV hack is amazing. OH, and my maybe most fav part is that the Telescopic lens articulates, so you can point the lens so you get the perfect angle out the window, when the main camera is positioned anywhere on the windshield.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a NextBase dash cam for a few weeks now. I like the main unit just fine, and this add on does work well. However, I have the windshield mount for the main dash cam installed on 2 different vehicles, If you plan on mounting the dash cam directly to the windshield with these mounts, these little add on cameras are hard to make use of because the best placement for the dash cam is right behind the review mirror where the view for these add on cams is usually blocked. And they don't pivot in any direction. It works well, but I had no use for it because of the placement of the main dash cam was always near the review mirror where the view for this cam was blocked. So i returned it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great add-on unit to capture cabin and a little bit of the side window views. Simply plug in the main unit and you are done. There are no true 360 degree dash cams on the market right now (except some kickstarter products) and the Nextbase main unit and this add-on can help you record side and back window views. Not a true 360 degree coverage but good enough. There is a telephoto version that will capture farther view through back window but less side views.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well with the Nextbase dash cam. The only downside is that the main nextbase dash cam can only use one rear facing camera. This camera is best for cabin use. I can see out the back window with this, but the rear window mounted camera is better for that. It's a shame that the main dash cam won't work with both the interior and the rear window mounted camera. This camera is sturdy. It has survived falling off my windshield multiple times without breaking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cabin view camera uses a wide angle lens designed to record inside the car and through the side windows. It is very easy to install and the quality of pictures on screen are superb. It is a quality camera which is easy to use. I often have my three year old grandson in the car so I like to see what's happening in the rear seats and this gives me peace of mind. The cabin view camera does what it says on the box and does the job for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During the day with plenty of light, its good. During the night, with low light, its terrible. No IR sensor which makes a huge difference. As stated, during the day, it works and you have a great view. But outside of that, the night is useless. Would recommend an interior camera that has an IR. If you only use it for the day, it's great for the price. During the night, don't waste your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the NextBase Dash Cam and added this for inside of my vehicle. I also had to purchase the a NextBase Micro SD Card. NextBase requires you to use their Micro SD Card that will work when you attach the Cabin View Dash Cam or Rear Dash Cam to the base dash cam. A regular Micro SD Card will work if you do not purchase either item and just have the regular NextBase Dash Cam.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading reviews, I purchased this to go along with the Next base dash cam (which is great). I have keep the dash camera and returned the rear. This camera doesn't do anything if you have any type of larger SUV. I drive a Tahoe and you couldn't see past the 1st row seating. It was just taping myself and the passenger, which defeats the purpose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality camera. More cons than pros for the retail price $100. 1. It causes main camera to shut off and restart randomly. 2. Video is saved seperated rather than picture in picture as displayed on camera. 3. No night vision so only works well during the day.

I drive Uber and Lyft and I like this camera for recording the cabin view. After installing this camera I feel secure that every moment has been recorded and if something happens wrong then I will have proof for the police to show the footage
