·Offering greater freedom for handheld shooting, a 5-axis Sync IS system compensates for up to 7 stops of camera shake for sharper images when working at slower shutter speeds. This Sync IS setting requires a compatible OM SYSTEM body; if used without Sync IS, the lens itself compensates for approximately 5.5 stops of camera shake.
