[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace my old trusty trimmer after 8 year and searched high and low to no avail to match the now discontinued trimmer. This one is fine. It does what it needs to, though takes more work than my old one. it's waterproof, but I would never take it into the shower anyway. the charger is far bigger than need be and prevents bringing a charger on trips. an annoying bit is that the charging light is red and stays red no matter if it is charging or fully charged: meaning that you have no indication if it is fully charged. like I said, it's fine... probably better than fine for a lot of people. I just miss my old trimmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! What can I say. It has every feature/adjustment you could ever want. I like the fact you can take the comb guard off and get a very close stubble cut (at least 0.5, maybe less.) The build quality is superior and the on/off switch is the best in it's class. It has its own rechargeable cradle so no need to plug a cord into the trimmer. I really like that feature and it's ergonomics are clean. Easy to use and not bulky. It looks nice and performs far beyond anything I have every owned (and I have owned quite a few different trimmers.) I normally don't post reviews however I have to give props to Panasonic's trimmer.

This trimmer was exactly what I wanted for maintaining my beard in the shower, thereby eliminating facial hair trimmings on our vanity. Purchased on sale, delivery was surprisingly quick. I was also pleased to discover that the charging stand for this trimmer was the same as for my Panasonic ESSL41A Milano triple blade shaver. Although a minor issue, I would rather not have to oil the blade after each use. I like being able to dial up the trim length I need rather than changing to different length combs. Quiet operation. Adjustable comb can be removed by pulling it straight out of the trimmer facilitating trimming around a moustache or maintaining a sharp beard line on the neck and face.

Not bad if it would hold a charge. Not sure if it’s the charger and trimmer itself but it only holds a charge for about 10 minutes. Tried to charge for hours, even days with same result.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] battery lasts a super long time, and it truly is water resistant as i have had it for a while now and have wet it time and time again. I even use it for my hair.

Trimming is good with this trimmer, but the charger is somehow badly designed! First of all, there is no charging indicator on the charger, so there is no sign to show you what is the battery level. The charger is only 110v to 3v, which means that you cannot charge your trimmer if you want to go out of north america! Be careful not to plug it in to 220v! These days, almost all products can work with both 110 & 220v power sources. As the last problem of the charger, it takes about 24 hours for a complete charge, and only takes 1hour of working for discharge.

I almost bought a much more expensive one until I read other reviews on this one. I've owned a few from $20 to $100+ and this one is the best trimmer I've had. Cuts quickly and quietly. I can rip through 2 weeks of beard faster than any other trimmer I've owned. Also works great on body hair. If this had a shaver attached to it, it would be the best thing ever. One word of advice - follow the instructions! It works even better if you oil it regularly like the instructions show.

it says its for hair and beard, but its really just for beard unless you have short hair and it doesnt cut that well either....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this after searching for a trimmer I could use in the shower, I shave my head and like to keep my beard trimmed neatly while not making a mess. This trimmer has met and exceeded my expectations, I can easily trim multiple lengths wet or dry and it comes out great/consistent every time. The only gripe I have is that the charge light stays red all the time, it doesn't go off when it's done charging or even change color. Just something to be aware of. Don't be like me and expect it to do anything when it finishes the charge cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous Panasonic lasted for years, but the guard was a little dubious, and it was a little large. Despite the new shaver's decreased girth, it still feels heavy, which is fine, as it feels substantial. I wasn't an initial fan of the squishy on/off button, but I've become used to it. Wish directions were more clear on how to completely remove the guard, as once you put it on (like my old one) it didn't seem easy to remove...like you were going to snap off a plastic tab. Luckily, that has never happened with my Panasonic shavers.
