The iPad (5th Gen) has dual cameras. The rear "iSight" camera has an 8 megapixel sensor and supports still photographs as well as HD video recording (1080p up to 30 FPS with audio and 120 fps Slo-mo). It has a f/2.4 aperture. The front mounted "FaceTime HD" camera, designed to be used for video conferencing in conjunction with Apple's provided FaceTime software over a Wi-Fi network, has a 1.2 megapixel sensor and takes videos up to 720p.
